Popcorn Flavored Jelly Beans.

I love the popcorn flavor but reading that made me go, eh.... I know what you mean. I had too many tacos one weekend and it's really hard for me to eat them now.
I have that problem with tequila. :lmao:

I like the buttered popcorn flavor.

The flavors I hate are black licorice, cinnamon and root beer. They used to have a lavender flavor that was horrible! It tasted like shampoo. :scared:

I don't like jelly beans period (don't like the taste of the gritty texture of the coating) so I am not a fan of JellyBelly. However I did try them thinking maybe I would like the unique flavors.

I have to agree with your family, Popcorn JBelly's are pretty nasty.

I LOVE  the popcorn ones too and my dh will sometimes go out of his way to get me some!! Plus mike and ike have the popcorn ones too and they are good too! Can't stand the black ones though :crazy2:

Yes, I love the popcorn flavored ones. I actually just got a bag a few days ago and I always get some from Goofy's Candy Co in DTD. I think buttered popcorn might be Jelly Belly's #1 selling flavor.

I don't like popcorn jelly bellys at all. DH got a bag of blueberry muffin jelly bellys yesterday and one of the three flavors was popcorn, blah. I don't like the chocolate or licorice ones either. I prefer all the fruity flavored ones.

Ew, I don't like the chocolate ones either. I'd rather just eat chocolate.

Love the popcorn beans. I also like the caramel corn, cotton candy and blueberry. Oh who am I kidding I like just about all of them.

Wow, popcorn is popular! I have sought redemption and found it !!!!

I will have to 'google' to see if popcorn is indeed the #1 flavor.

I really also like the blueberry *at the same time* as the popcorn. Soooo good !

Just had to share...

I couldn't take it anymore, and I stopped at Target on my way home from work to get a bag of JBs. Well, they had all the flavors but were completely out of Buttered Popcorn.

I got Sizzling Cinnamon, Tutti Frutti, Grapefruit, 7UP, A&W Root Beer, Orange Crush, Toasted Marshmallow, Very Cherry, Juicy Pear, Grape Jelly (I think that's what it is), Watermelon and Island Punch. I'm sure I got something else, but that's all I can remember. YUM!

This is a bit of a 'survey' for me... I absolutely love Jelly Beans, and my favorite Jelly Belly flavor is Popcorn. My husband, father, mother, various friends find this to the be worst flavor ever invented. I can't be the ONLY popcorn flavored fan out here..... anyone else share my love of Popcorn flavored Jelly Bellys?

popcorn::You are not alone!popcorn::

Whenever we go on vacation or something and the kids are buying some "special candy" from the candy shops, etc., I always get myself a bag of popcorn flavored Jelly Belly Jellybeans! They are the best! I like other flavors too, like the chocolate ones and some others, but PopCorn is a must have for me!:goodvibes

Think of it this way - all the more for us!

I have that problem with tequila. :lmao:

We're we at the same party?

Important advice to college students: Never play quarters with tequila instead of beer!

Marching in the half-time show at the Oaken Bucket game the next day was not much fun. I don't know how I kept my section of flags straight~

I've never had them. However, I am planning on purchasing some soon. My dad has diverticulitis and is no longer able to enjoy his evening popcorn snack. So, we're going to buy these jellybeans as a substitute. :thumbsup2

I am more of a fruity girl and I haven't tried the popcorn one yet. I do like the Dr. Pepper flavored one though!

I've heard of the Every Flavored Beans, being an HP fan but ewwwww... I'm only going to try them at WWHP. Some of them I probably won't hate but most, I think I will. Yuck.
You might be surprised to find out how much of what we like is just in our minds, and NOT in our mouths.
There's a famous diet where you are supposed to pull your finger a certain way and it triggers mental pictures that you temporarily implanted into your brain, and the memories are memories that you previously created of things like maggots, earth worms, roaches, and barber shop hair. I'm NOT making this up. Its a BIG TIME diet that was on TV a while back. We actually did it for quite a while, and it works. Anyways you train your brain to get "grossed out" with a simple hand gesture so that you can stop yourself from overeating.
The point is with this gesture, you trigger these nasty food thoughts, and whatever you are holding (thats SOOOOOOOOO good) suddenly isn't as good anymore.
I am amazed how many people that I meet at Epcot in the Club Cool who try the Beverly and HATE IT, and remark about how GROSS it is, who I have been able to convince otherwise. Its one of my little Disney pleasures.
I watch someone get all grossed out over it and I politely walk up beside them and get a cup of it and smile and drink it and say "I love this stuff!"
They then say WHAT??? And I kinda reprogram their brain by saying "OK, your looking at it all wrong. First, before you try it again, think to yourself that this is a flavor that is sold to MILLIONS of people, and it is. Thats true. Next think bitter CAN be good, and it CAN. Then think of a cold lemonade and sprite mixed together. Now take another taste and think "Not so bad".
Most of the time, IF I can get them to try it again, they will agree that it's not that bad if they think ahead of time that its SUPPOSED to be bitter, and bitter CAN taste good. Many of them will actually get a third cup full and walk away amazed that they like it. No joke. My sig is true.
A lot of what we perceive as nasty is influenced by packaging and where / when / who.
Have you ever picked up a cup of coffee and took a sip THINKING it was going to be Iced Tea??? You probably nearly sprayed it. It wasn't what you were expecting.
Those flavors are CHEMICALS and FLAVORINGS, and there is NO PEAR in juicy pear! Its all flavorings. The gross flavors are the same flavorings, and if you try to pick out the sweet flavor or just the salty, they suddenly are good.:thumbsup2

At least thats how it works for me.

They're OK but I love the Licorice ones the most.

I just googled and an article claimed that Buttered Popcorn was the most popular flavor in 2009. It also said that there are 50 flavors on a normal basis and this includes:

Berry Blue, Blueberry, Bubble Gum, Buttered Popcorn, Café Latte, Cantaloupe, Cappuccino, Caramel Apple, Caramel Corn, Chocolate Pudding, Cinnamon, Coconut, Cotton Candy, A&W Cream Soda, Crushed Pineapple, Dr Pepper, French Vanilla, Grape Jelly, Green Apple, Island Punch, Jalapeño, Juicy Pear, Kiwi, Lemon, Lemon Drop, Lemon Lime, Licorice, Mango, Margarita, Orange Juice, Orange Sherbet, Peach, Peanut Butter, Piña Colada, Pink Grapefruit, Plum, Raspberry, Red Apple, A&W Root Beer, Sizzling Cinnamon, Strawberry Cheesecake, Strawberry Daiquiri, Strawberry Jam, Tangerine, Toasted Marshmallow, Top Banana, Tutti-Fruitti, Very Cherry, Watermelon, and Wild Blackberry.

I think that I'd eat any of these except the coffee flavors. LOVE the Very Cherry, Pina Colada and Bubble Gum too.
