I'm just baffled that popcorn isn't free but maybe that's just me. I might be more inclined now that I know you can get refills on the ship though. I thought I would have to pay $$ every night.
I hope they let you bring it back and use it. Recently I have been trying to minimize the 'stuff' we own, and we seem to end up with so many cups and things from vacations. Then I give them to Goodwill, but honestly, I would rather not do that. I wish we could reuse the mugs at the park. Like buy a sticker to use each visit, but I don't do the mug refill because I don't want to add to our mug collection and I feel bad throwing it away. So I hope they let you do this and save a landfill one less bucket! Good Luck!
It makes me laugh that there is free food (almost) everywhere on the ships, and that people can order multiple apps and entrees during the same dinner for free, but they charge for POPCORN which costs them pennies to make!
I'm wondering if charging for popcorn eliminates people (especially kids) wasting it and leaving more messes everywhere? If I pay for popcorn, I intend to eat and enjoy it. Some people though, might get a bucket, take two bites, and leave it somewhere.
View attachment 180804 This is the bucket I got on the Magic in the Med last year. Sorry it's not a better photo. Heading back on the Magic in August, going to bring it with us and try for a refill! Fingers crossed!!!
Thank you for sharing the photo! I know that I'll want to take ours home but I don't know about bringing it back, but this will be my very first cruise so who knows
Do they sell sweet popcorn as coming from the UK I always hate buying popcorn and then finding it has butter on it so throw it away as to me they just don't mix.

Yes, you can get popcorn from your Concierge host. However, its bagged popcorn, not fresh. Although, the fresh has been hit or miss in our experience, in terms of freshness. The bagged has been Rico's brand on our past sailings.
