Popcorn bucket refills

Are they still refilling buckets by using cardboard containers that you then pour into your bucket, or are they refilling the bucket directly without the extra step (covid protocal) ?

The cardboard box container was the method during our June 4 - June 10 trip. My DW loved every second eating her maple popcorn from our neighbor's to the North.
