The kids are usually in the AllStars with some overflow into other resorts. But, I have to say, I was there, at the same time as the kids back in '03. Stayed at Music, and had absolutely no issues at all. If you can eat on the early side...around 7:15 in the morning, you will find the food court to be a lot less crowded. Same thing with the buses. But, the kids are usually occupied during the day with their competitions. It's only at night that they 'come out' in the parks. Yes, sometimes they can be annoying..nothing like a 'pack' of teenagers..talk about pack mentality. They can be loud, rude, and just an overall pain. But, if you see a bunch of kids coming your way, you can avoid them.
At the resorts, if you want peace and quiet, ask for a room away from the pools, and on a higher floor. We found it to work quite well.
