Pop Warner Week

I have a trip planned for what I now believe is Pop Warner Week (which I never heard of be4 this site). Our dates are 12-5/12-12. I have read that the parks are so crowded and awful during PWW. Does anyone have some input? Shoud we change our plans? The whole reason I chose that week is b/c I read it is NOT crowded! I don't want the crowds! What other weeks are w/o the crowds? Thank you!

We have been that week and the crowds were not terrible at all in the parks and all the Chirstmas activites are very nice. We were used to January so not quite as dead but not crowded either.

My only concern would be if you are staying at a value. We were at the WL and had no issues but the buses to all the values were always PACKED. We talked to families in the parks staying at values and they did have crowds and noise. As long as you avoid those resort you will be fine.

We were in WDW from the 1st December till the 15th December 2008.We stayed at All Star Movies,I too was thinking oh no first trip what are we in for!!??It was fantastic,the crowds were not bad at all and we had no issues with Pop Warner people.I know other ppl have different opinions but we will definitly go back at that time again.

I will be honest.The park crowds were not that bad. The only awful thing was the dang cheerleaders shrieking their cheers in my ear while on line for POC, the monorail , and Space mtn. I stayed at the allstars .The busses were ok but busy.The food courts busy at mealtimes.The worse was listening to the cheerleaders and football players carrying on late into the night.I actually had to call the front desk. I still occasionally go during PW, but I try to avoid it.
