I knoiw that they are at the Values in December. Do we know yet which Moderates they will be at?
Thanks,
Beth

As far as I know, that info hasn't been made known yet. In the past, they have been at every moderate with the exception of CSR. At the moderates, the Pop Warner crowds don't take over the resort as much as they do at a value, but I'm sure you'd still feel their presense. To play it safe, I'd book CSR. It's a great resort.

I thought that CSR would be the safest bet. I am booked there already. I just want to make sure.

I really kind of want to stay at Port Orleans Riverside at the same time as the Pop Warner dates so I am interested to find out what people who stayed there last year during this time thought? I know they were there but I wonder if they "took over" so to speak. I really don't care for the CSR theme so I don't know what to do.

I posted a question about Pop Warner week right before I booked my trip - I got a lot of negative feedback about peoples experiences with it (not only at one resort either!). They said that the pools were terrible, because there was little control over the kids, and that the cheerleaders practiced in the parking lots at 5:30 AM. I switched from December to October because of it! Hope this helps!!

I stayed at the POFQ a couple of years ago during the Pop Warner event. I only noticed the kids a few times during my stay. One evening, they were running down the pathway in front of our room until after midnight. They did roam around the resort in packs of six or eight, and they got pretty obnoxious (as many groups of pre-teen and teenage kids get when they are unsupervised). They did practice routines and have rowdy tag football games in the courtyards in front of our room.

We've been at WDW during Pop Warner time. Those who had the worst experiences seemed to be those who stayed at the same resorts as the kids. If you stay elsewhere, as we did, you'll probably barely know they are there. They don't spend a whole lot of time in the parks anyway, and when they do then tended to be in small, fairly quiet groups. I know a few people said they ran into large, loud groups of them in the parks, but I think those encounters were probably the exception. Personally, I wouldn't change the dates of my trip over it - I'd just be sure I stayed somewhere else.
