Pop v's AoA

Hi all

Still planning our Disney fix for later this year, we usually stay AKL, sadly not able to afford there this time due to having to use the holiday fund for emergency home expenses. We're still desperate to go and have decided that it will be Pop or AoA as they are similar in pricing (AoA would be standard mermaid room not suites). I've spent hours/days viewing YouTube videos, reviews etc and pro's and cons for both, so my final research brings me to those who give good honest feedback, so guys over to you...........HELP!

I have not stayed in AOA but we love POP! We have stayed in all the values, POR, OKW, SSR but the theming of pop is fun and our children love it there. We don't spend much time in our room but when we do it's more than suitable, good TV, comfy beds and ample space x

I have stayed at both and love both but I will choose Pop over a LM room at AofA next time because of the long walk to the food court and buses.

Stayed at both with last stay being AoA. However, we did seem to spend most of our time at POP.The food court is better at POP and the buses less crowded. Now I've done AoA I'd stay at POP in future.

I have not stayed at AoA but have stayed at Pop, Movies, and Music. Out of the three I prefer Pop.

One more vote for POP

we stayed at POP and AoA:LM and would always choose POP over AoA

As a PP said, food court is better at POP.
TBH AoA has real plates and utensils, but we've always found the food court to be too noisy, too busy, we always ended up eating at POP across the brigge
(POP's food court is busy and noisy, but never as much as AoA's

On a side note, I don't agree with the "LM too far away from the food court". It's an easy, nice and short walk. You might walk that much staying at 90's or at the far end of building 2 (50s) at POP, depending on where you are in the LM section.
Just FYI, I have mobility issues and can't walk for long. Going from LM to the food court never was an issue.

but still, POP seems more relaxed. I don't know how to put it, but when we stayed at AoA, it felt like guests did not behave as well as those at POP. It was a stunning feeling each time we crossed the bridge. Strange ...

We have booked for AoA, it's our first on site stay and we are so excited. My DD6 loves all the films from each section. Hope we've made the right choice but haven't stayed at Pop so nothing to compare it to I guess.

I love the theming of AoA but of the two I'd rather stay at POP. Overall I am only basing it on the fact that I love the food court at POP, they have some great choices in there.
