Just got back from our first trip to FW a couple weeks ago and was VERY happy we had our bikes to zip all over. I don't mind walking but biking is really the way to do it there, or the golf cart. It is a real WALK to get around there from one place to the other. It's one of the nicest places we have gone for bike riding. Be aware that even tho we went in April, it still got really hot a couple days and also we got bit pretty bad from these relentless, weird flies, so being able to go indoors out of the heat and away from the flies was wonderful. The day we did Epcot it was so hot almost couldn't get through the park, and I was soooo happy to get back and relax in the cool AC. I'm one for making sure comfort is first bc that can affect everything you do and the mood of your entire trip. So for me, especially in August, I would do the TT to be safe, even if that meant tightening up somewhere else. We went in summer once and the heat got unbearable, and up in the Northeast we are used to really humid, hot summers. I really do like popups tho, I think if it were Spring or Fall would choose the popup. It must be nice to feel the real air and openness to the outside, just would worry about the heat in the summer in FL.
