Pop to TTC?

We have a 7:45 am ADR at Kona Cafe.

How long does it take to get from POP to the TTC? What time do we need to leave?

We will have a car but since we are going to be at MK all day after breakfast, I don't want to leave the car at the Poly all day so we will park at the TTC.

The latest info I have is from the Unofficial Guide 2011. It says the average travel time from POP to MK is 40 min. with a max of 51 min. But that is door to door. You would still have to consider the time on the monorail or riverboat to MK and subtract that from the total. I don't like to feel rushed when I have reservations and like to go early because I never know what I'll run into, such as extra traffic or a missed turn. If MK opens early that day, traffic could be heavier even though you're going early. Plan for the unknown and take a little extra time. If its not raining you can always walk around the resort awhile.

Depending on where you park, I would guess it's a 5-10 minute walk to Poly from TTC. Drive time from POP is about 15-20 minutes.

On Christmas Day we had an early morning ADR at 'Ohana and took the monorail from Poly to MK. Our car was very safe at the resort. We were at MK all day. It was much easier at the end of the night to take the resort monorail vs. the TTC monorail or boat. Those lines were packed. You'll also save more time parking at Poly than TTC.
