pop to nearest publix store

We are not driving in orlando so I was wondering how far is the nearest publix store from the pop century, how much would it cost by taxi?

I would say the Publix near to the Premium Outlets on Vineland Avenue is the closest and then you could combine two types of shopping and maybe even a nice meal as Outback Steakhouse is there as well

The Publix Claire mentions is a good option. I can't remember an Outback Steakhouse in that area, although I don't doubt there is one if Claire says so . You'll need to pay a toll to exit and re-enter the Osceola Parkway at that point.

There's another Publix the same distance from Pop in the opposite direction. Head west on Osceola Parkway following the directions for Animal Kingdom Lodge. As you reach the lights just past the entrance to AK, turn left onto Sherberth Road. You then have two options. If you want to see a short stretch of the 192 and some potential eating options, follow the Sherberth Road (it twists and turns a bit) until you hit the 192 and then turn right onto it. Publix is around a mile and a half on the right-hand side just before you reach the Western Expressway toll road. If you just want to get there as quickly as possible, you can avoid the 192 altogether. As you head along Sherberth Road, literally just before you reach the junction with the 192, turn right onto Black Lake Road. This road takes you out to the 192 right next to Publix.

thinkthe closest is the one by primium outlets,and there is a outback a couple of hundred yards from it
What we do is taxi to primium outlest aroun $15+ tip.Do some shoping at outlets,then we walk over to the Outback,its over the road at the back,have a meal at outback, then we go to publix do some shoping for surplys AKA beer.then taxi back around $20
Makes a nice evening out of shoping

Re-reading this thread, I've realised that I hadn't taken the time to read Claire's post properly. I'd mistakenly thought she was referring to the Publix near the Lake Buena Vista outlets on Vineland Road (hence the reference to the Osceola Parkway and my confusion over the Outback Steakhouse).

I've just been researching via Google maps. According to that the Publix near Premium outlets is 5.8 miles from Pop, the one near the Lake Buena Vista outlets is 4.2 miles and the one near the Western Beltway is 3.9 miles. There's another detailed on the map between Gaylord Palms and the 192 on International Drive South which is only 1.9 miles from Pop. I know the area, but it's not one I'm familiar with. Checking the Publix website, it's known as the Xentury City Centre store.

The publix next to(accros the road)from Gaylord,is the closest,but find it better to go to the one on vineland near preimium outlet.
If you take the buss to downtown disney taxi cheaper from there as well
