Pop Tarts Bowl - Hotel Rec

We plan to go to the Pop Tarts bowl on 12/27 but combine it with a stay overnight after the game in one of the entertainment areas - either Disney Springs, City Walk, or Icon Park. We are familiar with each of these areas but not necessarily the ease of getting back and forth from the game. Not totally sure if we would drive to the game, use Uber, or maybe public transportation. Any advice appreciated.

I'd drive. Ubers will be expensive.

Been to Bowl Games there. Once stayed at Disney Springs because DS#1 and I went to the parks while rest went to game. Once just DS#2 & DH went, stayed downtown and took uber to game.

I would drive or Uber/Lyft .... I would not take public transportation.

If you drive YOU MUST PRE-PURCHASE PARKING to be near the stadium. Otherwise you'll be a distance away, some downtown lots offer a shuttle so that would be my next choice.

We have stayed in the Flamingo Lakes area over by Animal Kingdom so we could go to Disney and approach the stadium from the west and avoid I-4.

The Universal area is closer, however, which means City Walk and Icon Park.

In the end, I would base where I stay more on what you want to visit before the game.

The area around Camping World is an industrial area with a lot of scattered parking lots.

I would drive and plan your parking ahead of time so you know exactly where you are going.

Tthere are all kinds of small lots around the stadium. Get an app like ParkWhiz and pick where you want and how much you want to pay. There are many, many less-expensive options.
