If my children (age 8 & 10) are in the kids club and they want something to drink what is available to them? If they have the "pop sticker" is the pop available in the kids club or near by.
If they don't have a "pop sticker" is there something else available for them to drink without leaving the club. Those of you with 2 or more kids, was it neccessary to purchase them each a "pop sticker" or could I get by with purchasing just one?
Thanks in advance.

You do need a stciker for each person. I have just asked my son and he says the only thing available was a water fountain. Or he could check out, head up to deck 9 and get a soda.

Thanks for quick reply...another question...could I send them with bottled water (although I know that many on this forum say the water onboard is safe) or would it just be another thing to look after. I imagine we will send them to the kids club with a small bag containing their towel and sunsceen in case the need it. Did your son mention what most kids did when they were thirsty.

Really, I wouldn't The water on board is fine. And the clubs activities take place at different areas on the ship. Sometimes they go up to deck 10 for sports games. Sometimes they go eat luch or dinner, sometimes they go to the theater sometimes they even go across the hall to the club. I think the bottle water would be more of a PITA than an assistance. As somone who is very picky about tap water, I can tell you that the water on board is fine.

The kids will be having so much fun in the kids' club that they won't think about stopping to get food or drinks. A quick sip from the water fountain is fine, and since it's purified onboard, it essentially IS bottled water.

I wouldn't send a bottle of water or other snacks into the kids' club. It would just be something for the counselors to look after, and the other kids wouldn't have the same stuff -- which, in a kids' group setting, is bad on several levels.

One more note: There's no need for the bag with towel and sunscreen either. The kids' club counselors will not take the children swimming (and if they did, there are stacks of towels by the pool), and I don't believe they go out in the sun either -- mine didn't anyway. The only time my kids were out on deck was at night (when they played on the sports deck with glow-in-the-dark balls -- way cool).

The clubs have everything that the kids will need, and there are no "cubbies" or anywhere else to store personal stuff.

Do not send them to the club with anything besides their KTTW card and name badge. It will just get lost. There is water available in the club/lab. Other than announced dinner times and occasional activities that involve food, they do not eat or drink other than water while in the activities. SPecifically, they do not have access to soda at any time while in the programming, including at meals.
There are no facilities for keeping track of personal items in the programming areas. If your child needs food or a drink other than water, he can ask the counsellor to page you to come and sign him out...or sign himself out if you gave permission when you registered him.

I have always wondered about the room keys card. Is it on a string/lanyard? How so the kids (and there parents for that matter) keep track of it?

Thanks
