Pop Rooms

The only time I've stayed at Pop was in the 90's, the side by the parking lot. It was a fairly long walk to the food court and bus stop. Oh, and the best part, we could hear the kid next door screaming for several hours on our last night there. Then there was the over 1 hour wait to get a bus to DHS to see Osborne Lights, we went in Dec.

Yeah, there is that. It is a hugely long walk. But....it isn't always the furthest away bus stop. At DHS and DTD POP has a fairly close to the entrance spot. At MK it's the pits...it's closer to the CR than it is to MK. And at AK, I can't really remember, but I know it's not particularly close by.

Excellent points about DTD DHS! It was fairly close, I totally forgot!

MK was far too...after a long day that was a pain.

Ak was a decent walk, not too bad though.

Our non-preferred 80's rooms was actually a much better location than our preferred 60's room. The food court and bus stops were actually much closer. This is one resort where, IMO, paying the extra $$$ is NOT worth it. The entire resort is pretty compact, so even the furthest location is only a 5 min walk at mot.

I think we stayed in building 3. Now, we like to drive, so we always were coming from the parking lot..I found that to be a longer walk that i would normally like. But, when I had to go to classic hall, it wasnt such a long walk at all..didnt seem any further than when we stayed at poly. POR was a hike. As was CSR. I would worry so much about the walking at POP. Even when we stayed at Music, the walk wasnt bad. Sometimes its kinda nice to walk along and watch everyone having fun and all..

We've been to POP 3 times. In '04 before kids, we stayed in the '50s looking at the parking lot. For us it was great, but now that we have kids, the extra walk would be inconvenient. The last 2 trips we've stayed in the '60s, building 5, non-preferred. We love this location. Everything is a short walk away and convenient.

We stayed in the 60's last trip and loved it, close to everything. Cannot wait to go back soon!
