Are some rooms better than others here? What do you usually request? We usually travel with my DS and the requests are short and sweet, roll in shower...lol. I have never had the freedom to make a request. Anything worth requesting at Pop? I'm thinking perhaps proximity to Classic Hall would be the only thing I can think of we might benefit from having. Are there better views than others? Or two window rooms? Just curious. TIA:goodvibes

I just called in my request yesterday, based on what I have been reading over the past few weeks on this board. I requested 60's or 70's building, lake view, upper floor. We'll see! Good luck!!

Thank you so much! I hope you get all you requested. :)

This looks to be a great request :thumbsup2

I stayed here in April. I requested 50s or 70s lakeview, upper floor. I wound up in 50s, Tramp section, lakeview, room 3336. I loooved it! I requested those parameters because, like you, I wanted to be fairly close to Classic Hall, and I wanted the lakeview side to cut down on the noise from the Hippy Dippy Pool I'd read about.

I stayed at POP this past Oct. We did not spring for a preferred room, we did request 50"s, facing the lake.

We got 50's facing the lake, bld.3, second floor. It was a fantastic location. Literally right around the corner from classic hall. Maybe a three minute walk at the most. The 50's was a very quiet location. I highly recommend it.

I thought POP would be a lot bigger then it was. It's really a compact well planned out resort. Even the farthest rooms from classic hall are not really that far away.

Just another comment about POP, the food court is very good. I was quite pleasantly surprised.

We are visiting POP in 2012! Cannot wait!

I've been before and we LOVED it. We've stayed at deluxe level, moderate level and value and I loved Pop. The pool bar was fun, the food was great and I thought the rooms were a good value. Have fun!

I agree! We have stayed here before, I just never noticed anything but DS and his chair...LOL. I tend to be a bit myopic when he's with us. This is my first trip without him in years! He just got back so we are going without kids this time, :D . I haven't been able to make a request in so long I'm kind of excited. Your room sounds perfect!

I was really amazed by the food here. It was good! This time I'm looking forward to the dessert options.:lovestruc I like the option of a big food court, one of the reasons I love the values. :cloud9:

Thank you!

Thank you! Yes, I think that sounds awesome. I can sleep through a bomb going off(although...come to think of it...I've never actually tested that) but my younger brother who is the birthday boy,is a lighter sleeper. He also loves any kind of lakeview when we vacation elsewhere.

We stayed in a preferred room in the 60's. It was close to the pool and the Kiddie pool, but relatively far from the parking lot (we drove to the parks).
Our room was on the ground floor, which we liked a lot. We weren't really bothered by noise from the pool. The only disadvantage to this was we heard kids running on the walkway above us in the afternoons/evenings, but it wasn't bad.

The 60's pool and surrounding area seems to be the most crowded. I ended up in 50's to wash clothes once, and it was nice and quiet there. I'd ask for a 50's room next time And perhaps on an upper floor. Building 3 looks great.

We are going in February. My only request is a first floor room. Someone in my group is afraid of heights. I sure hope my request is granted.

For a standard view room, we always request 80's. I like the location- not too far from the busstops- you can take a short cut around the parking lot to get to there.
