Are there elevators at Pop? How about refrigerators? Thanks! :sunny:

Fridge--no, you have to ask and you have to pay for it. Elevators--yes.

The last 2 times we were at Pop, we requested a King room and were given a room that was make for wheelchairs. We had not requested this type of room, but it was the only room that had a King bed. These rooms had a refrigerator in the dresser/TV cabinet. If you have a medical need for a refrigerator, such as medicine requiring refrigeration, or breast milk, it is provided at no charge. Otherwise you have to pay. At the Moderates and Deluxes it is provided at no charge. Hope this helps!

The fridge is an extra $10 per night. I think they add tax to that too.

They are free at the moderates. If you want a fridge, that's something to consider. I thought it was as good an excuse as any to upgrade.

Now I'm trying to figure out what excuse I need to upgrade to a deluxe.

AP rate or pin code is the reason if I can get one or the other. :rotfl:

BTW, the fridges at values are really small. Think college dorm type. Can fit about 6 water bottles in there.

What we did was stop at Walmart's and buy a $18 cooler , fairly large one with wheels. Got ice each night, and kept everything in there. At the end of the trip, we left it in the room. It was still cheaper than spending $10 a day on the fridge and held lots more.

Thanks so much for all of your replies! :sunny:
I'm glad there are elevators because we'll have a 2 yr old with us. We really do not need the refrigerator, but I wasn't sure if they were already in the rooms.

we did the same thing, but at the end of the trip we filled it w/our souvies that did not fit in our suitcases and checked it as a piece of luggage... airline had no problem with that (we were pleasantly surprised) :flower:
