We have reservations for POP from 12/24 - 1/1

A few questions:

1. We might be driving (having difficulties redeeming dividend miles) - we heard that parking is terrible. Our plan is still to use WDW tranportation.

2. We are scheduled for the 60's building.

Is that the best location? Specific room location to request?

How bad is the parking?

Any other suggestions about POP?

The parking was hectic when we were there..but, they were opening up new lots every day, and working on more. It should be easing a bit by now.

I was there last week (July 25-Aug 1). PC was filled to capacity & parking was horrible late @ nite. I was in the 70's and had to park often in the front lot near the checkin. This actually worked out for us, since we stopped by the cafeteria (to refill the mugs) on the way to the room & on the way to the parks every morning.

I did notice that many cars were parked in "non-parking" spots all over...against the curbs etc.

Yes it is a bear to park. However, no matter where you park it is a very nice walk around the property. The actual layout of PC is very good and you can walk from one end to the other in under 5 mins.

Dont worry about this at all. The PC is WONDERFUL & the Bus service is excellant.

We stayed in the 70's and it was just as close to the main bldg as the 60's. I wouldn't spend the extra $10 a night...also the 50's are just as close.

BTW the Generation gap Bridge was opened to walk across the lake.
