POP pool questions?

We are traveling with our DD, who will be 8 months old, in just 17 days!!! (not that I am counting )

We are planning on taking a break for pool/nap in the afternoons. We have requested the 60s building, so we will be closest to the hippy dippy pool.

1) is there shade around the pool just in case DD will nap outside (while mommy gets some sun )?

2) are pool floats allowed? We have a small infant float we wanted to take for DD

Yes, there will be shade options away from the pool deck. There's some umbrella tables, there's palm trees, natural shade is created by the buildings depending on the time of day, etc.

Yes, you can use floats in the pool if you want. FYI that there are life vests available at the pool and there are toddler sizes. That may be a good option for you.

At 8 months, I would not be comfortable with a life vest... so I am glad to hear that floats are allowed

Yes on all accounts, but please also remember swim diapers. So many parents don't and when we were there the pool was closed the majority of the time to clean up messes.

Not saying you didn't already think about it, just wanted to throw it out there.
