For our Aug trip I booked at POP originally cause we love that resort. But then i realised i can get CSR for only $300, so why not book CSR then!? At CSR you get a much bigger pool, more fun cause of the long waterslide. Plus it gorgeous!!! One of the best pools at mod level.

You get QS meals available at the pool area, which is rare for a mod. You also get a TS restaurant on site, plus a lounge with a DJ (for those that wanna party). The rooms are a bit bigger and nicer. You get a gym, again this is the only mod level that has a gym. Plus the food court is great....at breakfast and lunch its a buffet, but get this, its only 1 QS credit on the DP!!! WOOHOO!

The buses are better at CSR than Pop apparently, not as crowded.

The grounds are prettier overall.

All Disney resorts have games/music during the day at the pool now...plus movies by the pool each night.

Something to think about. If you can afford it, go for CSR.

Having said that, we always loved Pop. Its a fun resort.

This is easy....CSR!!!!! It is my favorite of the moderates. It had the most deluxe feel. LOVE IT!!!:lovestruc To be fair, I've stayed at Pop and I'm not much a value resort lover. It was fine for the price, but if I can afford it, I'd go moderate. Pop did have a nice food court.

Check out the resort photos of both, they are very true to what you get.

Can't wait to hear what you decide!!

We love pop but after we upgrade the FD from the QSDp to the Rdp.. The cost difference to upgrade was around 400.00 for 11 days. We went with POR but we love CSR also. I love that pool. The major reason we did also was for queen beds and more storage space. We also plan on utilizing the amenities at the resort since we have 3 down days.. If cost is a factor pop is the way to go if not CSR it is beautiful and when we stayed there super quite.

I don't want to come down on all the pop people but I definitely would go with the csr. While I still love pop and it is fun and exciting and we've always had a good time there coronado springs is just a big step up from the values and honestly all the moderates as well. We consider it a deluxe lite. We also like it for all the same reasons GoofyinToronto stated.

CSR for me; we don't like the values and won't stay at one. CSR has everything we need, including queen beds, spa, salon, etc.

I just went ahead and booked CSR for my last minute trip!

Cant wait....

 Good choice!! :cool1:

BTW, thank you KatMark for mentioning the salon. Forgot to mention it....CSR is the only mod with a salon I believe. how convenient! You never know when you'll need an emergency pedicure. :lmao:

What area would you recommend (not preferred location) close to themed pool?

Thanks everyone for your help / feedback!

Last time we stayed there we stayed in Cabana,s and it was really close to the main pool. I want to say it was 8a or something like that. head to the CSR info thread here on the resort boards you should be able to find a map. I would post a link for one but I not on my pc.
