POP or CR

I have a dilemma. I am taking my 3-year-old niece to Disney as an early birthday present in September. My sister is going with us, but reluctantly, as she is not a Disney fan. I know, shocking and I do not know how we came from the same mother. Luckily, I have taken my niece under my wing and I think she will LOVE this trip.

I currently have a reservation at POP, but am considering changing it to CR. We will be using Disney transportation while there and the monorail will be really convenient. Staying at CR will double the cost of the stay, but all of our meals are included. If it was just me going I would probably stay at POP and wished I had stayed at a monorail resort.

My sister is willing to give Disney a second chance (seeing it through my eyes) so to me this trip is really important. I think the hotel is going to play a big role. I am really on the fence here. What would you do?

CR is great, especially with a little one. The location is awesome and your neice will love the monorail. Plus you can WALK to MK--bring a stroller (no matter what resort you choose).

That's EXACTLY what I was thinking. Just having a hard time justifying twice the price. Then I think about how convenient it will be.

If you can swing it financially, stay at CR. I've never stayed there, but we've done Chef Mickey's more than a few times and my DD loves to shop there (she's 10). We have stayed at the Poly. The convenience of the monorail -- and walking or boating to MK -- is wonderful.

I took my youngest daughter for the first time when she was 3. We stayed at the CR, the monorail was her favorite ride and she loved CR. With a 3 year old you spend alot of time at MK and we always walked over in the morning and rode the monorail back to CR (first stop on the return trip.) My DD is now 11 and has been to WDW 14 times and has stayed at many different resorts but CR is still her favorite and wants to stay there every trip.

Try to eat at Chef Mickey's. One of our favorite character meals and easy to get to when you are staying at CR.

My vote is for CR. LOL
