Pop or CBR for Epcot trip?

Trying to decide between Pop and CBR for a quick last minute trip in early February. We plan on MK and Epcot parks only. Both resorts have the skyliner but having never stayed at either resort with the skyliner running I’m not sure which would be better. My understanding is Pop only has the option of the skyliner to Epcot and no bus but you can get a bus from AoA. CBR I’m not sure if they have bus options as well as skyliner. It’s 3 adults so I know we would be more comfortable in a CBR room but I know the size of that resort is sometimes an issue with buses taking you around or being full and the walk to transportation could be long. I’m so torn and usually don’t have this much difficulty deciding. I think it’s because I’m not really excited about either option but it’s what is in the budget for this trip. Which would you choose?

The skyliner at CBR goes straight to Epcot, whereas the one at Pop you go to the hub at CBR and get off, then get in line at CBR, then go to Epcot. So if the ease of skyliner to Epcot is the deciding factor, CBR is easier.

I personally prefer Pop because of the smaller footprint of the resort so you're not too far from buses or Skyliner no matter where you are. I think if you end up in a building far from the Skyliner, it negates any time you might have saved by staying at CBR vs. Pop. If you do opt for CBR, I would request a room near the Riviera Skyliner - the lines will be shorter for the Skyliner and it goes direct to Epcot. You'll also be a lot closer to all of the Riviera amenities, which we really enjoyed.

That’s what I was curious to know if one of the lines went straight to Epcot without switching. I do feel like the size of Pop would be more manageable. The downside to CBR near Riviera is being away from the pool and food options. Would you happen to know about how long the walk would be from CBR buildings close to Riviera to that Riviera station?

So I will end up at CBR hub regardless of which resort I choose. I wish they could guarantee a building request at CBR other than preferred. It would make deciding easier.

We were in building 55 or 56 (I don't remember which), but it was probably a 1-2 minute walk from our room to the Riviera station.

It may look shorter, but how long it takes depends on how many empty cabins they send from CBR or people getting off at Riviera. Especially now that they're only allowing one party per cabin.

Thanks everyone. I think we will keep CBR just for the extra space in the room. Now to decide which building to request.... lol
