OK!!!!! It's time to bash some of yall posting here:
First of all,we are staying at CBR this year in October.This will be our first time at CBR,and it seems that with this post as well as some others,that I am hearing different opinions about CBR.First of all,I don't mind the walking so much,if it means a nice quiet area,especially at night.Plus with all of the extra ammenities that are offered at CBR,that in itself is worth the extra walking,bus stops etc.After reading several other posts,I think we are going to have a great time at CBR.
Now,as for POP and all three of the ALL STAR Resorts,We have stayed at all four resorts and loved every minute of it.We have stayed at the ASMU three times!!! I don't know what some people think about "value " resorts,like they are nothing but a "hole in the wall","roach motel",or something,but at disney,nothing is done half way,or mediocre.Even their value resorts are top knotch!Yeah,maybe you don't have bike rentals,or hammocks to lie in,but who cares?The atmosphere at these resorts is very magical indeed!Each location is themed to that of its representation.Very cool indeed.The food courts are fantastic!Many choices of foods to pick from.Not a bad price,even for disney.Now to the crowds.Each resort is so big and spread out,that even if the resorts are crowded,it doesn't seem that way.It DOES depend on what time of the year that you go too.We go in October,and the crowds are minimal,plus the weather is excellent! Yeah,they allstar movies WILL be the most crowded at all times.WHY? Because of the disney-movie theme.FOR WHOM? Right.FOR KIDS! So think about one of the other value resorts if you go with older kids or no kids at all.When we stayed at ASMO,we enjoyed it just fine,but probably won't stay there again,and only because of the vast amount of smaller kids there with their families.POP is by far,the BEST value resort at disney.When that place was laid out and constructed,they improved on it from the mistakes from the allstar resorts.Bus cue lines are chained,and spread further apart,food court is bigger,arcade is bigger,check-in area and shop is bigger.This place is by far a better planned resort than the other three.
Now here's a tip:stay on the top floor and there is less foot traffic and less noise.Elevators DO work.
All in all,I just HAD to post a small portion of my opinion in reference to the posts that I have read.No,I am NOT bashing anyone whatsoever.Just wanted to approach the posts with a little different angle with my replies.We all have our own opinions about everything in life,and disney opinions are no different.I really do hope that I have helped in some way,to show that the value resorts are NOT some low-life places to stay.They REALLY are great resorts.
