Pop Or Asmu In August?

During August how are PoP and ASMO (first two weeks). Which would you prefer and why. I know ASMO is newly refurbished but those are only the suites and we are not traveling with a big crowd so its unnecessary. I've read different post about PoP and All Star Resorts so im really confused. Dont know if its worth to switch from PoP to All Star in August. How hot is it?

We stayed at the AllStar Music last August and it was wonderful! It was the first time that we had stayed there and we were really impressed with the resort. I think that all the rooms were refurbished. The rooms were on the small side but the 3 of us had no problem. The mousekeeping was great and left towel animals everyday. We were in Calypso Building 1. Our room was in the back, but it was quiet and only a few moments to the pool and to the foodcourt.

The food court was really large and most generally, no lines. There were alot of choices and better than expected .

The pool was great and the kids loved it. I don't know if they are continuing the program that they had last year, but there were movies at night in the pool area and alot of games and dancing for the kids.

We have never stayed at the Pop, but given the choice, I would not hesitate to stay at the ASMu again!
