I am wondering should I stick with my my POP reservation or switch to AOA?

I booked pop because I haven’t been to the resort since 2019 and well skyliner.

Should I reconsider?

Need a little more information. Is there a particular reason you think you should book AOA instead of Pop? Would you book a family suite at AOA or a Little Mermaid room? The Little Mermaid rooms are quite a hike from main building and transportation. They are also usually more expensive than rooms at Pop.

No particular reason other then haven't ever done Skyliner. This is a solo trip for me myself and I :)

Go with whatever theme you like, you cannot go wrong with either one. Room distance has never factored into our decision on a resort.

If skyliner is your main priority, I'd personally go with Pop because it's usually less of a walk to your room and it's usually cheaper. If the walk and the price don't matter, then maybe look at some pictures of both resorts and pick whichever one appeals more to you!

I think Pop is going to be undergoing refurbishment—not sure when you’re planning to go. Personally, that wouldn’t necessarily deter me but others might be.

I have stayed at both and was in LM room facing the lake. Both room were a walk to main lobby and transportation. The only advantage to Pop is you can book a preferred room and get a little closer those things, but it's Disney so I just expect to walk. Choose the theme and price point that works for you. Enjoy your trip and riding the Skyliner.

Both have skyliner, so really just a matter of cost imo. If you want a family suite, then AoA

Stick with POP.
I assume you'd be staying in the Little Mermaid rooms at AOA and they have not been updated at all plus are very far from the main building especially since there are limited and winding paths at AOA.

Stick with Pop. If it's just you on this trip, there's no reason to switch to AoA for a family suite. And the Little Mermaid rooms that you might consider at AoA are further away from the main building / skyliner.

If you go with a Preferred room at Pop you should be getting a closer building to the center, so that saves you some steps.

When we stayed at pop I used TP to request a room and the skyliner station was under a 1 minute walk from my door. Loved it!

Just saw this thread and like most said stick with Pop. I did the LM rooms once and never again for me. Pop is my favorite resort. And you will love the skyliner too. Enjoy your trip.

Current refurbishments are minor and we’ve had zero complaints of noise in the 3 months since they began

Still recommending Pop!!

We love POP so that is where we would stay. The last trip we stayed on the backside of Building 6 which is a short walk to the Skyliner and loved it. We usually do walk over to AoA to check out the desserts over there and see what they offer.
