Just back from 8 nights at Pop. It was 100% fabulous! I can't think of a single thing I didn't love about this resort. I requested 70's section and got 50's. After seeing 70's in person I like 50's better.

We traveled with another family who was in the room right next door to us. One night they couldn't sleep because people were loud at the pool till 2:00 AM. We heard nothing and had a perfectly peaceful night's sleep, so that proved to me how two people with adjoining rooms can have a totally different experience. In spite of that one bad night, they loved Pop too.

CM's wonderfully friendly, beds comfortable, room plenty big enough for 2 adults and 2 teens, turbo-toilets a non-issue, bus service 100% wonderful, mousekeeping efficient. Honestly can think of nothing at all I didn't love about Pop! Even met one DISer at the bus stop one morning!

We did get the refillable mugs. Milk isn't included. Standard coke products, apple juice, hot chocolate, frozen coke, frozen blue raspberry and hot chocolate are.

The buses were great. I love how they have separate lines for each park. I believe Pop is the only resort that has this. It worked great. So proud of our teen boys who never, ever sat on a bus when there was a lady who needed a seat. Rarely did we have to stand going to or from a park and rarely did we have to wait for more than one bus to get where we needed to go.

Welcome back. Gald you had a MAgicla trip. We will be staying at POP for the first time in Oct. Thanks for the great post!!!

Me, my DH, DS(3) and DS(almost 9) will be staying at POP from 7/30/05-8/05/05 and then we are heading off for a relaxing week at the beach we are so excited. Glad to hear that you liked it and thanks very much for the perspective on the noise. I must say that I have stayed at both Movies and Music and always been fine but the reports of horrible noise did have me worried. You reminded me that it is a matter or personal perspective:) Thanks again!!

Thanks for the post.
We just recommended POP to some friends who are going down in October. I feel better about it after reading your post. We also helped get them signed up for the free food. pirate:

Glad you had a great time. We will be arriving at POP on Saturday....so talk like this is good to hear.

Thanks for the great review. We will be there in 11 days. :goodvibes

My only worry this trip is the crowds. We normally go at the end of August and it is not that crowded. I know either way we will have a great time. We are meeting family during the middle of our trip so it will be a lot of fun. :)

Glad to hear you had a great time...one more question about the mugs...you did not mention coffee.....I am hoping coffee is included, too.....welcome home

Glad to hear your experience was fantasic :cheer2:  I work for a major resort hotel company  and usually stay at company properties when we travel :moped: As we have several properties in the Orlando area, we usually stay there. However on this trip we decided to give the Disney property a go :earsboy: Could have stayed at any one of the resorts but the wife and our niece wanted to stay at Pop Century :dancer: We will be checking in at Pop in 39 days :dancer: :dancer: and we dont expect our room to be ready when we arrive, but with everything there is to do we are not going to sweat it :cool1: :mickeybar :drinking1

We're checking in in 40 days and we can't wait! :cool1: We did get preferred because of some health problems that I have and I hope we like it. I imagine it will be crowded and I didn't want to chance not getting my request with 50's or 70's. I decided to go for the 60's. Counting down the days here.... :Pinkbounc

I will be checking in at POP in 4 days. I can't wait to get there. This is the first time to stay onsite while going to the parks. I did stay at the Swan once while I was there for a conference. The lobby looked great for the Swan but I wasn't impressed by the room. I will say I have stayed in a lot better for a lot less. Thank you for sharing the info. All you have done is made me more excited.

Dancing all the way there   :cheer2: :cheer2: ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo

Oops! Sorry! I'm sure coffee must be included with the refillable mugs but none of us drink coffee so I didn't think about that.

Have a magical trip everyone!

Davefrompgh: DH had coffee many times in his refillable mug!

Glad to hear you loved POP--we love it too, especially with discount codes. :flower: Hope to stay there again during the Food and Wine Festival this fall!

The AS resorts also have seperate bus lines for each park out front just like POP.

Glad to hear about the wonderful stay at POP! You mentioned you were in the 50's building. Which building were you in? Did you have a lake and fireworks view? I will be there in August and was looking for some guidance on the 50's location.

We were in the Lady building facing the pool so we didn't see any fireworks. You probably could if you requested 50's lake view though.
