If you're not in the restaurant dining in, do you purchase the pop? My understanding is that lemonade, coffee/tea milk are unlimited. What other drinks are unlimited? I know special drinks you have to pay for. What is not free when you ask for room service?

Also, can you bring food to the theatre? Or you must purchase them right outside the entrance or inside?

Can you bring some snacks with you to the islands?

Sorry for all these questions...I have NEVER been on a cruise before. Thank you for your help! :)

Soda is now free at the Deck 9 drink station and in the dining rooms. You are only charged for it if you order it at the bar. I am not sure about soda from room service.

Yes, you can bring snacks into the theaters.

Yes, you can bring food ashore with you. A lot of people bring zip lock bags, order room service and have a picnic.

Room service is free (except I don't know about soda) but you are expected to tip the person who delivers it.

Do they have soda at the buffets (Topsiders/Beach Blanket)? Or do you have to go outside to the drink station to get it?

Thanks,
DJ

Yes, there is soda available at no-cost at Topsiders. Just to clarify, if you order soda via room service there is a fee of about $1.50 per can.

When did they make soda free at the Deck 9 drink station??

I believe it was sometime in July. If you do a search there is a thread about it somewhere.

June 12th was the first cruise with the Deck 9 Drink Station free sodas.

Is the coke set up at the same drink section, 24 hours like with the coffee and tea or is it inside Topsiders where they close it after meals?

The drink station used to be 24 hours but afte the Norwalk virus a while back they changed it. Now it closes about 11:30 pm and opens very early in the am.

Here is a pic of the Drink Station (before the addition of the soda machine). You can see the tarps at the top of the station that they drop when they close it.

MJ, Yes that is the drink station I was talking about. I am glad to know that they added coke. I guess I will still bring my mug with me thought to put the coke in. It beats the small disposable cups.
