What is a recommended time to eat here for breakfast so it is not very crowded? :confused3

Not sure of the best time other then the earlier the better, what we usually do if it is crowded is take breakfast back over to the pool area and get a table there, it is more peaceful.

we were always down to breakfast around 8 to 8:30 and never had an issue.....They had some great breakfasts and there is apple juice on the refillable mug stand......kids would love that too...

I went down to pick up breakfast b/w 7:30 and 8 a.m. and there were no lines at the stations and plenty of seats. The next morning my DH went down closer to 8:30 - 9 a.m. and he said it was a zoo.

The earlier the better. I know it crazy there between 8-9 ppl want to try and eat and get to the parks by 9.

Are their any other times of the day where the food court is crazy?

I find even when i's crazy busy it's still manageable - I mean really it gets you in the mindframe to wait in lines all day anyways :rotfl2:

We tend to grab breakfast and either eat outside or bring it back to the room and pick at it while getting ready...

We usually head down by 7:30 or 8am and it's usually easy to manage then. We did breakfast once close to 9 and it was a bit more crowded but nothing terrible.

We haven't been to Pop yet (planning our first stay this coming December), but I thought they had discontinued the apple juice from the fountains?
My kids love apple juice, so I'm just curious! :)

I would just say to steer clear of the food court between 8-9am. Before and after you should at least be able to find a seat.

Go before 7 - I think they open at 6:30. It's practically dead.
By 7:30 it's jammed.

PoP is our favorite place to stay, and we have eaten when the place seemed to be popping at the seams. But the great thing was, we always found a clean table to sit at, and the lines, as long as they were, only took a few minutes to get through. The CM's there work very hard, and it shows. Great food, clean tables, and quick registers. I hope you and yours have a great time!! pixiedust:

P.S. You have to get a piece of Tie Dyed cheesecake when at the PoP. It is their signature dish you can't get anywhere else. It's right up there with getting a Dole Whip at MK, or a Turkey Leg, it's just one of those things you gotta do.

I was there last weekend and I'd say go as early as possible.

I'm pretty sure they no longer sell tie-dyed cheesecake.

No longer sell Tie-Dyed Cheesecake!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!!

We just there less than 6 months ago, and we got it. Tell me it aint so Mickey?:confused3

I wonder how the PoP would feel about a lil lynching mob outside in the pool area, with pitchforks and torches yelling "TIE DYED!" all nite long?:rotfl:

I hope they do still sell it, but either way, PoP is still the funnest resort in WDW in my book!!

Where did the poster that said the tie die cake is gone get their info from?
I am so looking to try this in Dec, I have seen pictures in the new "porn" thread. So when did they stop if they did?

The Bakery till 10

Chocolate Cake - $3.59
Tie-dyed Cheesecake - $3.59
Hand-dipped Ice Cream - $2.69
Assorted Sundaes - $3.99 to $4.99
Freshly Baked Cookies - $1.89 Each
Milk Shake - $3.79
Espresso - $2.69
Cappuccino - $3.19

They still sell the tie dyed. There are times where it is near/at the ice cream station on the far left of the food court. At other times they also have them in the to go section in the back corner between the two main cooking stations.

They must have brought it back - last year they stopped serving it for awhile, my understanding is it was due to Disney's ban on trans-fats, so maybe they got a new recipe.

I think the Twinkie Tiramisu is definitely gone though
