Hi! I'm taking a family trip in January and would love a peaceful lakeside view room. We have upgraded to a preferred room. Online we are allowed two requests, and I currently have it set as 1. 50s building, and 2. landscape view. Is a landscape view a lake view? There was no option for "lake" online so I'm just assuming that's what it means haha. Also if you have any insight into the 50s building vs the 60s building I'd really appreciate it. Thanks so much!

From what I can tell on Touring Plans room maps, there are no Lake View rooms in the Preferred category. You'd need to downgrade to Standard to make a Lake View request.

We went a few weeks ago and had the most gorgeous view and just a short walk to shyliner. We were in 60s section, bottom floor , room 5117. I wish I could send you a picture of our view but not sure how to post a picture here.

Oops, it was room 5117!

We've stayed in the 50"s and based on location, you can be pretty close to the lobby or not, if you paid for preferred, your proximity to the lobby/pool will be prioritized with no lake "views". My favorite requests at values/moderates are corner rooms when available, the extra window add more light and make the room feel larger. If you check touring plans and have the subscription, you can look up rooms by number and sometimes they have pictures of the views. But all that to say, there really is no benefit to having a nice view at a value or moderate since you have no balcony. If being on the lake side is your preference, you may end up walking more.
