Are these Halloween happenings the same for the entire month of Oct? We arrive at Pop on the 19th and I know my DD will really enjoy alot of these activities.

Thanks

Hi! I just asked for you :) the Halloween happenings unfortunately are for Halloween day only. :(

Ok I know they have machines that you can do your "own Laundry"...but is there a service that you can call or pay extra for to have someone do your laundry- like a laundry service? I don't want to waste time in doing this. It would be nice to just call and place laundry in a bag and then when you get back from the parks its back in your room clean? Now that would be magical!:laundy::cool1:

I believe there is a laundry service, per item, and on the expensive side.

Thanks for the 411 :-). To bad we are checking out on the 26th :'( all of those Halloween happenings would be awesome

We have never been to Pop before, actually our little family of 4 hasn't been to disney together at all. Hubby and I survive on coffee in the morning and if there isn't a coffee maker in the rooms is there a place on the resort to buy coffee? Anyone know how much it is and if it's any good (not burnt)? Also, is it worth it to get the rapid refill mugs for all of us if we spend most of our time in the parks? We don't have a dining plan.

Pop does not have coffee makers in the rooms. Regular (non-suite) rooms at Disney's value resorts don't include them.

You can buy coffee in the food court. It's now the Joffrey's brand as of this year -- it's a local Florida brand. I think it's pretty good, although I'll drink anything. :goodvibes

If you are serious coffee drinkers then the refillable mugs are definitely worth considering. Below is the new pricing for the mugs. The per day pricing is tied to the new RFID soda dispensers, so for example 3 days will allow you to use the mug for soda for refills for 3 days. The coffee dispensers are not currently using the RFID chip technology to detect how many days or refills you have.

$8.99 for 1 Day
$11.99 for 2 Days
$14.99 for 3 Days
$17.99 for Length of Stay

I don't know the current pricing per cup of coffee, but if it's a 7 day trip then the $17.99 divided by one cup per day is $2.57 per day. I'd suspect per-cup pricing is at least $2. If you're like me you can easily get at least two mugfuls of coffee per day and make it worth it.

Wow thanks for all the great info! I have a hard time spending $72 on mugs for all of us, especially considering everything else we have to spend money on, but when you break it down by day I'm sure each of us will spend $2.57 on drinks each day anyway. It just seems like so much at once!

Yes, you will, most single drinks cost more than $2.57 at Disney. ;)

Just 10 days until we are here! Sorry, I have no one else to share my excitement with. It's a total surprise for my kids and my husband would kill me if I told all of Facebook when we won't be home :)

:offtopic: I'm very very curious:confused3.... We got back on the 19th...I have written my review already on my great stay with the exception of a cockroach finding in my suit case on our last day...I know someone on here replied to my review, stating they had also found one in their room...We stood in the 60's section, again we got back fairly recently...I'm just curious, has anyone else found any roaches in their room??:confused3:confused3

They're "palmetto bugs" aka roaches. They are abundant in Florida. It doesnt mean its a cleanliness issue like it is for the most part up north. I live in Pa...so up here that's what it usually means. But because its "tropical like" down there, you'll see a lot of them.

The limited time magic right now is some chalk art thing and that is for the first week on oct.

I returned home last week and while I was at Pop (70's section) I did not see any roaches.....just tons of love bugs.
