Quick question - what's the location of bell services at Pop? I know it's in Classic Hall, and my guess would be on the side closest to 50s, near the ME stop? I'm looking at the resort map and that's where a baggage symbol is, but I'm not sure if the map is exactly representative or if that just means it's in that building.

I'll need to pick up my ECV before I do anything else, my back will be awful after being in an airplane seat all morning.

If you are looking at the entrance bell services is to the right if you are coming from inside out the main entrance it's to the left. I hope that wasn't to confusing. :)

Makes sense to me, especially looking at the map. Thanks for the info. :)

We have always stayed at POP on our previous trips. This year though we decided to upgrade to a moderate and stayed at POR. Have to say we sure did miss POP! Can't wait to go back on our next trip in 2015.

We stayed at POR for for Free Dining last September but we missed Pop so much that on day 3 I asked to change resorts!!!!! :rotfl:

Pop is #1!!!!!:thumbsup2

Checked in this evening - MB's worked right out of the gate for Magical Express. Best part, ZERO line for Magical Express. RFID mug was easy peasy. We got a 60's room in Bldg 4 facing courtyard, nice and quiet, perfect. Old fridge with note BUT ours was plugged in and cold so I'm using it, we're all rock n' roll like that. Old bedding, not the cool new stuff but maybe since I took both bedspreads off and folded them and put them in a corner like Baby they'll be nice and just take them. For the price I still think Pop just can't be beat. Still love this place.

You are so rock 'n roll!!! :rockband:

"Put them in a corner like baby" :rotfl2:

Any word on when MB will be fully rolled out? We got them for our trip, but I am hoping we will still be in the test group and not the full roll out.

Absolutely! I had my laptop, envelopes divided w/ $$ & GCs, an overstuffed wallet, some meds in the presription bottles, a box with my extra jewelry, and my overstuffed keyring and probably something else in there as well
Oh, my spare sony cybershot camera was in there too!!
Didn't put the power cord in...just the laptop. ;)

Thanks!

I am still trying to figure out if I want to do the on line check in.

We have already made our requests for a few things and I don't want to mess those up.

Does the on line checking also allow you to make the requests?

Just another small tidbit....at POP it is technically called and labelled "Luggage Assistance" not Bell Services. That is what is on the sign there at the actual location. Depending on the CM you ask, if you ask for Bell Services they may not know what you are talking about, but if you ask for Luggage Assistance, they all should know. :)

We went to the front desk today and had no trouble getting a credit since we don't have a working fridge! More souvenirs for me! :rotfl2:

The bedspread disappears. Here's a photo from All-Star Sports, which also has the new bedding. This soft goods treatment of sheets with themed throw is what Disney is tending to use across the resorts and on the cruise ships.

Thanks for the picture! I am assuming that the throw gets washed between guests? However in life I have learned never to assume anything;)

Yesterday we checked in. No fridge in our room, it was MIA. We got a $65 credit, although 5x15=75, but it's a least something. Magic Band works great for opening your door. No more fumbling for a key. The taco section had a very lengthy wait. I don't know how they could streamline it? There was no line to check in at 1pm. There was quite a line at 12:30 in the morning. I didn't do online check in, because I didn't want to mess up my requests. Well none were met. The CM mentioned nothing was listed. Maybe online check in requests are the way to go. I was able to meet the most important request 50's section. No problems with MB's. knock on wood. Follow my Live tweets @dashing2disney.

Checked in today. Arrived about 1115a. Lines were about average. We went to the online check in line and was greeted by "Kevin." He got us our "keys to the world." Did ask about the fridge and was told they are still working on it. So no big deal. I didn't ask about the credit. I am not sweating it. We are on the 2nd floor this time but in the 70's section. Once we changed clothes, I noticed that the card keys were wrong. Had to go back and speak with Kevin to have it corrected. I did not see any new bedding. We have the same ones as last year and the year before. Maybe they are slowly working on changing it.

Hit Epcot and the Magic Bands are working great. Used the Fast Pass on the bands. Love it. It's really hot and humid here now. UGH! But I can deal with it. Bought the new Halloween shirt. I love it. 6 more days of fun in the sun. Oh found no bounce back for next year. The one I found was for this year. So disappointed on that part.

I'm pretty sure there's two BBs for 2014, call the number to inquire. I think it's 8844 from the room. Thanks for the update.

Hmmm, I also haven't done online checkin so now worried about my requests! Hope they are on there!!

I hope they truly look like this. Sooo much nicer. :)

I'm sure that's what they'll look like. We stayed at AoA in June and that's the same set-up we had in our Lion King suite. I liked it so much better than the full comforters. It's nice having the "table runner" (I'm sure there's an official name for it but that's what it reminded me of) at the foot of the bed because DH has a bad habit of laying down on the bed with his shoes on when we're back at the room during the day for a break. The runner keeps the sheets/blankets clean.

Yes, definitely dial 8844 from your room. The BB offer is free dining beginning next Aug. 20 until late Sept.

Also if you booked your trip before the July announcements of the fridge recall, ask for a credit and don't feel bad for asking. :goodvibes

Oh I hope this in our room when we check in next weekend!

Is it okay to take towels out of the room to go to Blizzard Beach?

Are they nice enough or is it better to bring beach towels? They just seem to take up so much space in the luggage.
