Your ME pick up time will be approximately 3 hrs prior to your flight. You are requested to be at the bus stop 15 min prior to your scheduled pick up time. The day before you check out they will leave an envelope on your door with your ME pick up info. They will have checked you in for your flight (At least that's always been my experience) and unless you need to settle up a bill, you really don't need to stop at the front desk to check out. That morning take your checked bags to the resort airline check in desk and have them check you in for your flight. You will need to take your ID with you to do this. These are the bags you don't want to see again until you reach your home airport. Then you can leave your carry-on bags with luggage assistance while you go to the park. Just be sure to give yourself time to retrieve your carry-ons and be to the bus stop in time. It's really pretty easy to do!

I flew AirTran last month and used the resort check in. My flight out was at 9pm. I did my airline check in around 10 am. got our boarding passes and check in our suitcases. the rest of the carry on's I left with bell services. our magical express pick up was for 5:55 pm. We got our carry on's and went to the waiting area around 5:30. a bus was there and he took us since he was not full and it was the last stop. We did online check in the night before on Southwest's app since I booked the ticket's with them. super easy and your boarding passes will have mickey's face on them : )

DD25 and I took a mother/daughter trip and stayed at POP. Loved the resort! We stayed in the 50s section, building 3, top floor, facing the lake. I had called and put in this request and when we went to check in the CM asked me if I had any requests. I told her the above and she said that I had been placed in building 7, ground floor. She made a phone call and there was a room ready meeting all of my requests...just before noon! I timed the walk to Everything Pop, starting from getting off of the elevator and it was only 2 1/2 minutes. Mousekeepers were always attentive, including prompt extra towels and blankets. I didn't care for the bedspread and got an extra blanket to use instead. I was able to regulate the temp in the room just fine. The only times that the foodcourt was slow was on a couple of rainy days...one being TS Andrea day. Any questions?

I requested the same thing! I hope we get it! We won't actually arrive at pop till 3 or so, not early like you did. Could you see any parts of illuminations from outside your room?

Sure could! I was walking back to the room and there they were!

Checking into POP tomorrow. We're not going to the parks until Monday but thought it might be fun for the kids to see Illuminations from the hotel. Does anyone know what building I can see them from?

You can see them from the 50s section. Best view would be from top floor of building 2, looking North. I get completely turned around about NSEW there...so I had to check a map.

Do the laundry machines still take quarters or can you pay for them with a credit/debit card or KTTW? I'm just trying to plan accordingly for my trip next month (!!) I am already planning to bring my own detergent and fabric softener sheets.

Yes! Do a google search to find the cost, but it will fit in a cooler.

Here!!!! Got a great room in the 60's on the 4th floor facing Little Mermaid section of AoA. I was admiring the view earlier, though, and a bird divebombed me twice getting in my hair!!! Freaked me out! It must have a nest somewhere around - okay, birdie, I get it! I won't bother your babies! LOL! Not too crowded at all, hopefully that continues a few days! I had the turkey salad on a multi-grain croissant for lunch and it was awesome! I chose the macaroni salad as the side, wasn't great, but it's all good because the sandwich was huge! Anyway, to everyone travelling down (or up, whichever the case may be) have a safe trip!

Yes, It's about 2.89 for a half gallon . Just an Fyi Milk is not an option for the refillable mugs .

Call and add it to your reservation, Go with the one you want the most first then the other second! So if you know you want a King Bed no matter what make that your first request then ground floor second
