Pop Century to Grand Floridian?

Hey eveyone! I was wondering how to get from POP to GF for a character meal at 8am. It looks like MK will not open that day til 9a so from what I've read, the buses to MK will not start running til 8am. I was going to take the bus to MK then hop on the monorail to GF. It is my DD birthday (turning 7) and certailnly do not want to miss the scheduled meal.

Take a cab. Believe me, saving the time and stress will be worth it!

We did a cab ride from Pop to the GF last week (also for an 8am breakfast) and it was about $20 with the tip. Definately worth it!

However . . . the MK busses will start running from Pop at around 7am. So, you COULD take a bus from Pop to the MK and then hop the monorail. I'm telling you, though, from experience . . . TAKE A CAB!

I believe you will find the buses running to the MK even earlier than 7!! I know that I have seen them running very early...around 6:30 or so. You could be out at the bus stop at 6:45, hop on the MK bus, get to MK and then take the resort monorail to the GF. The resort monorail starts running at 7:00...I've taken the first run of the morning from the Polynesian to the CR for a 7:30 breakfast at CM's!!!
Or, if you are concerned, and don't want to worry, just call for a cab.

Thanks so much for the advice. I'm new here so it is really nice to know that there are so many people with tips and general information that you can basically get everything you want right from the computer and I didn't have to make 1 phone call. Really excites about our up coming trip.

I could have sworn that I read somewhere that there are Character Breakfast busses. I don't know for sure because I am new here, too, but check into that.

Yes, there are. But, you aren't going to see a bus with 'character breakfast' listed on them! There will be buses going to the parks that have early morning breakfasts. So...if you need to go to the CR, Polynesian, or the GF, you will get on the MK bus and then take the monorail, boat to the restaurant of choice. If you are going to the CR, you can actually walk there from MK.
You can get a bus to Epcot for the early breakfasts, same thing for AK. Now, if you are going to Goofy's Breakfast at Cape May at the Beach Club, then you have a whole different set of issues. There is no easy way to get there. A cab is your best bet if it's an early seating. If it's close to MGM's opening time, you can always go there, and then either take the boat to BC or walk via the pathway from MGM to BW, and then head to the BC area.
