Pop Century Room Renovations

Thanks for all the pics! Is there a hair dryer in the room? I may have missed it, but I don't think I see one in the pictures.

There's a dark-colored bag labeled HAIR DRYER on the shelf above the upper cabinet that holds the iron (doors are open in the pic). So the hair dryer is no longer wall mounted.

I'm thinking the guest in the room moved the hair dryer. I imagine it is normally stored next to the iron in the closed cabinet.

there is a video on the Facebook group someone linked a few posts back

she also answered and said that fitting an air mattress with the murphy bed down may be very tight if at all possible :(
Someone will need to stay in the room and have an air mattress to set up and see.

My overall verdict is mixed, but I would love to have one next February.

Changes I like:
Hand-held shower head
Cabinet in sink area where I can stash toiletries (instead of keeping them in suitcase because I don't want to clutter the vanity).
Overall look/layout/decor of sink/bath area.
Ice bucket and cups on bev center instead of vanity.
Bigger (?) TV and wall mounted to free up dresser-top space.
More plugs around the room for phone charging.
Innovabed creating a more spacious feel for a solo such as myself.
Orientation of the safe making it easier to hold my small, non-rigid, irregularly shaped items.

Changes I don't like:
Safe in the cabinet where you have to get doors out of the way and bend over to get to it.
With Innovabed up, no good place to put unneeded pillows.
Still not a fan of the decor. Even just a bit of classic Mickey/Pluto art on the barn door would help. I would also vote for painting the whole barn door to match the connecting room door.

Most of my beefs are cosmetic, though, and for me there is still a lot to like. I keep checking YouTube for videos!

Will you not need the pillows your entire stay? Or do you plan to use them sometimes then take them off the bed to sleep?
If you don't need them the entire trip I'm sure you can ask mousekeeping to remove them. I mean, I don't know that, but I don't see why not.

The closet area.... I'm used to setting up 3 hanging shelves in the old space.... doesn't look possible now How on earth will I keep all our stuff organized? Looking for tips to make the new space work!!

I had just bought two of the canvas hanging shelves and then saw the pics and just returned them yesterday.

I am guessing there are 6-8 pillows on the bed in the first pictures. You stack them on the table if you aren't using the murphy bed, but where do they go when the bed is down? Maybe everyone is using 2-3 pillows to sleep, but I know we don't.

Basically I need 2 to sleep. Looks like there are at least 6. One of the pics posted had pillows stacked on the table and dresser, which seemed in the way. I only need them out of the way to sleep, though, and can probably stack them in a chair or on the folding luggage rack.

ETA: oh, hey, do we know the actual size of the TV? Just curious.

I am guessing the TV is around a 50", which is WAYYY bigger than 32" now. We need confirmation on the TV and bed size!! Darn you people enjoying your vacation!! Hahaha!!!
