Pop Century Resort opening December

Not sure if this has been posted or not but I was browsing around the WDW Resort page and seen that Pop Century will finally be opening in December 2003.

Yep, we have had a room booked there since April! We will be original guests of the resort. We check in for a week on 12/14/03! I can't wait. Mickey

I love ALMo and will probably tri Pop Century someday (even though AKL is my favorite)

We are having our first split stay at WDW.
In January, 4 nights at CSR; 4 nights at PC.

I've had my opening day (and the next day, too!) reservations since 4/11/03 (thanks, DU!). We'll be moving from All Star Music to Pop Century, so we should be among the first group of people to check in. I can't wait!

We'll be helping to open Pop Century too. Were at opening day for ASMO by accident. This one is planned. Since it is opening day, anyone know if we can get in earlier?

Well, we won't have to wait for the other guests to check out--and the rooms should be ready LOL!!

Will they have some kind of a "ceremony"? Maybe we need to start a thread for all "First-Day at Pop Century" people!

BethC1952 - That's what I was thinking. There will be no prior guest to clean up from. I was wondering about a ceremony too. Might pay to get up ther earlier and see the fun.
