I would like to know which buildings are considered preferred locations at Pop Century, I am thinking either the 40's, 50's, or 60's buildings, but I,m not sure. Last time we went we got the standard room and were way out at the 90's building. I would really like to be closer to the bus stops if possible, and can I request a room close to the bus stops? any help would be great. Thanks!

It is the 60s buildings that are preferred. There are no 40's buildings, the decades in this section begin with the 50s.

The only way to guarantee a room close in would be to book a preferred room in the 60s buildings and pay an extra $10 per night for the guarantee. If you don't want to do that, when you book, request the 70s. Requests are not guaranteed and might not be accommodated. Some of the rooms in the 70s are closer to the bus stops than the 60s buildings are, but there isn't any guarantee you'll get one even if you make a request.

Last time we stayed they only had Preferred rooms left so we took one. Requested to be near the Play Do bldg facing the pool, high up and we were able to get it. It was great as we stayed in the 80s the time before that and it was a bit of a walk

I would make "near the bus stop" your #1 request when making your reservations, even if you book preferred for the extra charge. Some of the preferred are quite a walk from the bus.
If you don't want the extra cost of preferred, say "70's or 50's near the bus stop." That should get you in a good spot.
