Okay, so I've been playing around with the numbers and am wondering if it would be worth it to switch resorts.

For another $775 we could switch to Port Orleans. I love that hotel. Everything considered, I'm thinking about doing it.

Is it worth it?

Port Orleans is a great moderate resort! We've stayed there a few times as well as POP. If you love it, and can afford it, it's probably worth it (and you get the benefit of a boat to DS!) But, $775 isn't anything to sneeze at. You could likely use that money for a couple extra special dinners, etc. But, it's your vacation. Do what you want to do!

My husband and I we're just playing this out for our trip next March (we're considering both LM rooms at AoA and POP). We've never been to Disney, so I'm interested to see what people here say!!!

How many are in your party? Our first trip as a family of 4 we stayed in a value. Even though our dd's were 3 & 6 it was a little tight with double beds

Honestly, I'd do POR, but that's my favorite resort! But with you and two grown young men, I can't imagine staying somewhere with only double beds. What are the sleeping arrangements? I refuse to share a double bed with DH OR DS, we all need our space. And POR has the boat to DS, YeeHaw Bob in the lounge, and just seems like it would be so nice for someone's "first" trip too

That's the thing I was worried about. My son and hid friend would have to sleep in the same bed. Something that I'm not sure either of them is happy about. I won't sleep with either of them. Lol.

I'm going to,have to think about it and decide.

I always ask, how many nights? That amount could be big or small depending on how many nights it is split among.

As far as beds .... full vs queen OR you bring a blow up twin and they trade out each night.
