Pop Century or the All Stars

Hi all!

I'm in the process of booking my hotel for the marathon and (alas) this trip has to be on the cheap. Staying for 8 nights and was looking at the value resorts (of course).

I would love to book Pop Century, but my concern is that with everything being so new, the kinks won't be worked out yet. This is kind of a big trip for me (first marathon and all), so I would hate to have less than perfect bus service, CM attitude, etc, etc. I have had pretty positive experiences at all All Stars before, so I figure that's pretty safe.

Anyone have any experiences with visiting a resort right after opening- good or bad?? Am I being silly and overanalyzing this?? Any opinions?

Thanks,

I promise to break them all in well at the Pop! We will be there the first week it's open. I think we can iron out all the kinks for you. lol Mickey

Stay at Pop and smell those truly fresh sheets. Its not everyday that you get to stay at a brand new Disney resort. Or just another option, split your stay in half and stay at both.

Very good point.... when will I have the opportunity to stay at a brand new resort less than one month after opening?! It's Disney, how bad could a couple of kinks be?? Pop it is!!

Does anyone know of a website when I can find a resort map for Pop so I can make a building request on my ressie??

Thanks, Solotraveler

We just got back from our honeymoon (All-Star Sports), and we really had an awesome time. Now of course we're already planning our trip back, but this time with a group of friends. I'd like to check out the Pop-Century Resort this time cause it sounds really funky. Does anyone know where I can find a map of the Pop-Century Resort? I've found maps for all the other resorts but I guess this one's not online yet? I'm curious about the layout and I wanna figure it out before we book there. Thanks!!! :Pinkbounc
