Pop Century or Caribbean Beach

We are booked at Caribbean Beach with the free dining but my family is wanting to switch to Pop Century because of the magic bands. I would have to upgrade from quick service to the dining plan but it would still be cheaper. The reason they want to switch is the fast pass+ option. Is that reason enough to change from moderate to value? Also, we've stayed at Pop before & I know it's a newer resort...never stayed at CB. It is older, not sure how nice it is. HELP!!!

POP, all day and twice on Sunday. At least for my family.

In 2009, we booked CBR over POP due to Free Dining and spent the trip wishing we were at POP. We didn't care for CBR at all. Too big, too spread out. maintenance and housekeeping issues that should not have been issues.

I have stayed at Pop 3 times and once at CBR. I would pick Pop over CBR. That said, I wonder if you can actually downgrade with free dining, since moving to Pop will probably be cheaper? Are you even able to do it without canceling your reservation and doing a complete rebooking?

Ugh! I didn't think of that! Guess I'll just call & see what my options are.

We love CBR. Stayed at POP once and wished the whole trip we were back at CBR!!! This trip- it's CBR!

I would rather stay at CBR. We have stayed at both resorts two times each. CBR in Oct. 2009 and 2010, Pop! in June 2011 and June 2013, I think the rooms at CBR are more spacious. I love the pool at CBR and the bus service was better.

We are splitting Pop for 6 night QS, then booked two nights at CBR no FD. I was not going to pay for more tickets to get the dining. I love the Pop! Just doing two days as a surprise or dd as taste of the Caribbean and pool our last day.
I wouldn't change for the bands,
