Pop Century on Travel Day

Our last trip was cancelled by Hurricane Frances so I am hoping our upcomming trip will make up for that disappoinment.

On our last night we will be staying at PC. The next day we won't be leaving for the airport until 3:00 PM. One option we are thinking about is to stay at the resort and swim with our grandkids for one last time. However since we will have already checked out of our room we won't have anyplace to change. Is there anyplace to change into our traveling clothes?

I am sure this is not a unique situation. I am interested in hearing what others have done in the situation.

disney resorts make it very easy to linger on your last day... they hold your luggage for you if you need them to and they provide a place to change your clothes right near the pools... at the 50's section pool there is a ladies and a men's room right next to the laundry facility where you can shower and change, or you can go into everything pop and change in the rest room there (the last stall/handicapped stall is quite roomy)...

my personal recommendation would be to change near the pool and pop your swimsuits into the dryer for a little while (maybe while you are having a snack or doing some final shopping?) so you don't have to carry it soaking wet!

You could also request a later check out.

We did this on our first day at WDW. We stayed at Pop our first night and then moved over to Ft.W cabins. We had two connecting rooms(big family) and at check in I requested a later check out.

We were allowed to check out at 12:00(instead of 11:00). We did this for one room only, moving stuff out of other room.

That extra hour made up less rushed.

tHEY ONLY ALLOW A CERTAIN NUMBER OF ROOMS TO DO THIS SO BE SURE YOU ASK FOR IT WHEN YOU CHECK IN. 12 NOON AND BEFORE IS NO CHARGE. YOU CAN ALSO ASK FOR A 3 PM CHECK OUT AND YOU WILL BE BILLED 1/2 OF THE CURRENT NITES RATE. IF THE RATE IS CHEAP ENOUGH (49.) WE HAVE JUST TAKEN AN EXTRA NITE AND LEFT THE ROOM AT OUR LEASURE.
