Great, then we will stop down at the pool when we are done at Ohana. I plan on taking a cab back so we should be back by 10..

We arrive around 2 on Sept 22nd, we plan on heading to MK then off to dinner at Ohana at 8:20 what time is the meet up?

Hi, mom2my3kids! I'm so glad that you decided to check out this thread after reading my other post! Hope we get a chance to meet! BTW, I'm glad you finally got LTT for MNSSHP(and me too)
Our plane is supposed to land on the ground on the 22nd at 12:30, then we plan to check in at Pop and head off to MK for our Chef Mickey's ressie. After that, we'll have to see how the kids are holding up after all the travel. Both girls, first time on an airplane and first time spending a night away from home, and in a hotel room to boot! We're all so excited though, especially me since it's my first time at WDW FINALLY!!

Everyone else: Sorry I haven't checked in on what's going on in awhile! I've been so busy trying to book flights, getting LTT dining ressies and MNSSHP tix, and changing my dd's ressie for BBB to the castle instead of DTD on the day of MNSSHP! Ahh, now I can breathe a little bit now. Thank goodness the dis boards keep me up to date (albeit glued to my computer), but that's OK. Being a newbie, if it wasn't for these boards I would be so clueless and our vacation would have been less than magical! OK, I think I'm rambling.... Anyway, when I get a chance, I'll post my itinerary and would love to see what you guys all think.

Airfare is NOT my favorite thing to book! DH looked online at Jetblue the day I told him we had booked Disney and the airfare was wicked cheap but we had to wait till the following week to book (stupid mortgage payments! )
And NOW all the prices have jacked up. It would figure.

Over to Epcot for dinner at Biergarten 6:15 pm

With the two little ones, we plan on getting to the parks early and touring until noon, taking a nap/rest at resort, then park hopping for dinner or continue on with same park depending on day. I'm pretty happy with the plan, so hopefully it will work out.

LOEMH= Little Ones Extra Magic Hours. It's where they open Fantasyland only 1 hour early and a lot of characters are there to play games and ride the rides with the kids. It is geared for the under 5 set but anyone can attend. It sounds really fun, I think both my girls will enjoy this!

Have you done the LOEMH before? We are definitely planning on trying to do that 1 or 2 days this time while we are there. I've heard great things about the character interaction & all of the kids (& parents) have a wonderful time.

Unfortunately she takes after her father (6'3) than her mother (around 5'2? she is a tad bit shorter than me) and looks like she is 8 or 9!

I might just try it, though At least to see some of the characters and get the more popular Fantasy Land rides done. Worse thing they can do is say no, right?

Exactly, I'd try & if they say no, then I guess you are already at the park for opening. It'd be fun though, so I say go for it.

We haven't done the LOEMH before since this is our first trip to WDW, but it sounds so fun for the kids! I love that Disney is doing their Magical Beginnings activities in September! We too are looking forward to hearing about the concert series for the time we will be there!

I am sorry if I was not clear in my post....The LOEMH is part of the Magical Beginnings promo Disney runs in late August and through September that is marketed to families that have preschoolers, they have special entertainment at DS/MGM as well however ANYONE is able to attend. They will not be checking ages or anything and as a matter of fact many people on other threads say they don't have kids or have older kids and still plan on attending. Your DSD is the perfect age and I'm sure she would love it! Definitely take her! LOEMH are on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. HTH!

Now then SirG, I'm counting on you to come along too and act all sensible and normal and reassure my DH - he'll have combined 'English reserve+Australian laidbackness+30 hours no-sleep' so I don't think he should be exposed to a swimming pool of glow in the dark excited DISers all trying to speak at once. In fact, he doesn't even know about the DISboards yet he's going to think I'm really two dingoes short of a pack !! (Now - you all know that we don't actually say that in Australia - just trying to put a bit of local colour in - oops scuse me, gotta dash, the koala just fell in the billabong and Bruce, BRUCE you maggot - those shrimp are burning on the barbie dahl !! )

You don't need to worry any more, Your DH will be in perfect company. Only if he is Goofy 4 Disney. I hope he isn't to burned out after the 30+ hours on the tin can of fun.

I noticed you live in Portland OR.
I love that town. My grandparents lived in a small town north of there called Woodland, Washington and we visited there every year. They also lived near Packwood, Washington for 10 years. I love the water falls along US 80 the Scenery is so beautiful. I liked visiting the Vista House overlooking the Columbia river. You are so lucky to live in such a nice place.
