So...It looks like MIL and SILs and BIL probably aren't going...
Matt says he won't want to stay as long if they don't. Which means, we'll probably stay 9 nights, thus moving MNSSHP to the 28th. Biggest stressor??? DINING!!! I have to change from Grand Gathering status & I am SO stressed about loosing dining!

Thats a shame! I will keep my fingers crossed that it doesn't happen. I really hope you can still keep your restaurant choices. Thats gonna be really hard and I don't envy you that task
I know its cheating but until you know for sure I would call Disney Dining and make ADR's under the name that the reservation is NOT under and just tell them you are not staying on site.
Just cancel which ever ones are not needed.
Do I need to put my flame suit on for even suggesting such a thing?

Hi Alicia, that's too bad that the rest of your family might not be able to go Maybe they'll change their minds...
I hope you can still keep your dining ressies and maybe just reduce the number of people attending?

That sounds like a great location to be for the kids! The one thing that seems nice about POP is that the resort seems fairly close together and things don't seem like they would be too far to walk, however after a long day at the parks the extra 5-10 minute walk from the bus stop to the far buildings in the 80's and 90's section would probably feel like it was miles away! That's why I'm hoping for 60's-close to food court and buses, lakeside-quieter. We'll see what happens though! Since I requested 60's lakeside, I'll probably get 90's facing a pool or something

Good EARLY Morning Everyone!

Hi everyone! I'm here again and was just wondering if any of you requested a certain building or view when you made your room ressies?

We'll be in two standard rooms and requested 60's building, lake view. I like the idea of being close to the pools, but want quiet for the kiddos when we come back to take naps. Where are all of you hoping to end up?

Last year we had 50s, far wing, facing the parking lot, top floor. In the morning the walk was pleasant and the area pretty quiet, but after all day at MK with a sleeping nearly 4 yo, it SUCKED! So, that is why I'm thinking of getting a prefered room, if there is still one available.

I want the 60's first floor FACING the pool! Last year we had 60's, first floor in the first wing closest to the food court and LOVED it. Took like 30 seconds to get to the food court and bus stop.

We are not to concerned about noise cause we bring a small box fan for the the white noise anyways.

So are you in a preferred room then? I really hope we get 60's!

Maybe we could have a "meet" just for the kids one day? I don't know about you, but by 10PM (our 22nd meet), mine will be zonked out!

Yup, I noticed. Looks like we both got Mother's Day presents last year! LOL

DD is a handful right now. Whew! I think she is going to LOVE WDW in Sept. My two other little girls were even younger when we went when they were babies, and they still enjoyed it.

Its still up in the air if we will be taking afternoon breaks or not. It all comes down to DH and if he is going to sleep in or not...Gotta remember its his vacation too
Poor thing works almost 7 days a week.
Unfortunately I don't have my super-duper schedule with me to figure out it out...I have everything on my work computer (cause you KNOW how I like to work hard!). But will probably have more of an idea as we get closer. My DSD just turned 6 and would love a pool buddy

I won't be on as much next week....Most of my replies will probably be at 3 in the morning West Coast time as I am usually up at 6am EVERY DAY East Coast time.
Everyone have a fantastic week and I will pop in every chance I can get....I will miss you guys!

We have afternoon breaks scheduled every day of our trip and I know my dd who will be 4 at the time would love to have a playmate! She still takes afternoon naps but we'll see what happens with those in the next few months. Would love to have the kids meet by the pool, how fun for them! Oh yeah, my two little ones will be crashed out on the 22nd, so it will just be me and dh at the meet. Also, I read on the other thread I posted about POP that they have bowling for the kids at 5pm and I really think dd would like that if we have time to fit it in! Can't wait to Sept to meet all of you and all the little ones!!!

Tammie- Gonna miss you too next week! Hope you have a good business trip!

Hope you all had a great day!!! I celebrated it by booking our flight!! SWA went down to $99 each way. It's not a great rate but I wanted to lock in the flight times.

Keli & Tammi - thank you both AGAIN, for volunteering to watch for Dings for me. To keep you both updated outbound is Flight#2464 leaving 9/21 at 7:35 Am And inbound is Flight #2315 leaving 9/27 at 5:20.

and, before I forget - How is Mark doing? DH snores like a cow!!!! What did Mark have done?

Let's see, what else, Oh DD's name is Katie. And I have a tip for packing, at least I think it's a tip!! I save the little tubes of toothpaste you get when you get your teeth cleaned and buy cheap toothbrushes (our local Big Y Supermarket had 3 for $1.79 last week). I also "save" the last of my deoderant, you know, when there's just a little left, and put it in the vacation pile. Then I can throw it all out down there. More room for the souveniers I swear I'm not buying and I don't have to wait for everyone to finish in the bathroom to finish packing. Ok, maybe it sounds cleverer (more clever?) in my head?!?!?
