Okay, I have been on these boards for awhile now but I don't understand this tagged thing??

My daughter's first WDW trip will be February 2004 and we are staying at the new Pop Century, WOOHOO!! Love this thread!!!! I have found some much useful information and now I can't wait to stay there.

I went into User CP and then into my profile and added the "Madelyn's Mommy." I think I automatically became a DIS Veteren because I had a certain number of posts???

I guarantee you had a tag there and removed it in error to put your title in. If there was no tag there, the Tag Fairy must have been working on it for you to be able to put anything in there. Usually, you can not make your own tag. The TF has to do it and no one knows who they are.....they are just very magical. Usually, they take something you said somewhere in post....that they like or think is funny. They take requests too at times.

I have had the DIS Veteren title for a long time, a couple of years. It was added when I reached a certain number of posts although I cannot remember exactly what that number was. I was a victim of the server crash a few years back and lost all of my posts which should actually be well over 1000. I was then a "Welcomed Guest" and had to start over with my post count.

Anyway, when I go into my User CP and then into User Profile there is a section called Custom User Text. I changed my DIS Veteren (which was the default title for my user group) to "DIS Veteren and Madelyn's Mommy." I never erased any "tag." I have noticed in the last few minutes that everyone's tags (now that I know what they are) are in color but the DIS Veterens or other self made titles are in black. I think once you are "tagged" you cannot change your own title??????

I don't know then. I used to have the DIS Veteran tag too, but when the TF got me....it was taken away. Also, the spot you are referring to where you can put something in there is in mine NOW, but it was not there until I got tagged by the TF. I tried to put something in and it said I could not access. I hear if I mess with the tag now, it will remove everything. It sounds like you might have a special "power" you shouldn't.

I have a question. I read somewhere that you could rent wheelchairs at some of the resorts. Will we be able to rent one and Pop Century or is this only done at the more expensive resorts?

Yes, we will have wheelchairs. You must have a credit card on file with your reservation, or at least show one to borrow the wheelchair. There is no charge to borrow the chair. However, should you decide to keep the wheelchair as a souvenir, a $315 charge will appear on that credit card.

It should be noted that we only have a small amount of wheelchairs available, and it's first come first serve.

Are you guys still planning on doing the 'Hustle' at 8:00 each night?

We are coming the second week after you open, so if they drop the dancing please let us know. I have plans to be back at the resort in time for my girls to join in the fun!

Tyler, I sure hope that there are upper management CM's that read these boards and see how informative and helpful you have been. I booked 2 rooms at Pop Century yesterday for our February trip and am just soooooo excited. Reading this thread and all the information that you have been able supply has made me even more excited about going. I also was able to get in on the $49 Florida resident rate so with 2 rooms it makes it soooo affordable for our large family.

You've been great, Tyler, and I can't wait to thank you in person in February!!!! So is there a Tyler fan club yet?

We are VERY excited for our first day, mainly because it will give us something to do!! LOL Our CM Preview test stays were small numbers, so we were very bored. It'll be nice to have the large crowds. WOO HOO!

As for the Hustle... we've been having some challenges with our audio system. Can't seem to get it to play the Hustle. (Previously, we had just a regular boombox... but obviously can't have that with guests)
