I was looking for a phone number for Pop Century, did you call and check on your reservations or request a certain room before going? We have never stayed here so what is a good room to request? It is 2 adults and a 4 yr old plus my parents so we ask for joining rooms.

Thanks, Susan

Hi, Susan. They request that you not call beforehand. It used to be suggested to do that, but it turned into a big hassle for the CM's. We stayed in a non-preferred room in the seventies and loved it. None of the buildings are terribly far away. If you are driving, the 80's, 90's, and 50's are closer to parking lots. Most of the 60's is preferred, and part of the 70's and 50's are, but it was an easy walk for us to the main building, food court, busses, and the main pool. And the splash pad was right on the way, which my DGD and DGS loved! We had adjoining rooms also, which worked great. There are lots of pictures and maps online. If you search the Pop Century information thread, you will find tons of information. Good luck, and have fun!

That is what I am looking for, where is the Pop Century Info board? I had looked at it before and can't remember how I got there. Also, I worry about places not having us listed for a reservation, I always call before we go any where-heehee.

Thanks, Susan

We have called the resort directly about 3-4 days before we are going to arrive and make a room request. We do this b/c our daughter has a medical condition, but there has never been a problem asking. We do not always get the building we request but it is worth a try.

The Groovy Pop thread has most of that info for you. I think the phone numbers are on teh first page. Alot of people like to fax their requests in about 4-5 days before arriving. It is said they assign rroms about 3 days before you arrive.
If you didn't put a request in when you booked the room, you should call your travle agent or whoever you booked your trip with and have them do it now.
