I booked my DD12 and I a standard at Pop from 11/15-11-23. This is a mother daughter trip and our only concerns about hotel are noise level and bus service to the park. I have free QS dining, which I paid to upgrade to the DP. I love staying in moderates, but the saving of over $400 made me decide to do budget this trip. We have stayed at Pop before and loved it.

My question is, are there any events or groups during those dates that will cause the hotel to be loud at night? I will upgrade if needed, but I'd rather save the extra and be able to fly instead of drive.

I did put in a room request for top floor with a non-connecting room and I will also ask to be away from any pools at check in. Any advice would be helpful.

I was at POP Nov 8-13 in 2010 (little earlier than your dates) and we had a standard room with no requests.

We were in the 50s section send floor facing the pool near the stairs. We never heard any noise from our room either from neighbors or the pool. I'd think you'd be okay.

Have a great trip! :thumbsup2

Thanks, how was the weather at that time? Was it hot?

We were there last year November 18 and the weather was perfect! I was even comfortable wearing shorts with a long sleeve shirt and didn't sweat in the parks :). I absolutely loved November weather!!!

That sounds great! Were the crowds bad at that time?

I have stayed in just about every building at Pop Century (still want the 90s section, though!) and the only time we've ever had a problem was with a very inconsiderate family whose young girl would wake up around 5:00 AM and start crying and screaming. I don't know how they would sleep through it (they were on the other side of a connecting door) but we never heard them even say a word to her. After the second time, I banged very loudly on the door and yelled "we are trying to sleep in here!" and that was the end of it.

I've been with connecting rooms, non connecting rooms, all different floors, different times of year and that was the only problem and, well, you can't fix stupid.

You should be fine.

Thanks, I'm looking forward to the trip. We love the food court at Pop and the pools.
