It's just as reasonable for a guest to want to use the extra days before they check in as after they check out. The entire package is paid for at least 45 days before check in so the guest has already paid for the tickets.
I disagree, I think it's a very reasonable request. I'm sure you have an AP and probably aren't familiar with park pass pricing.

So I think it would be unreasonable to expect Disney to advance the ticket portion for a package that has not even begun. If I have a package booked for next June with room reservations, MYW dining, and MYW tickets for those dates. And I decide in April to pop over to the park for a few days should Disney let me go ahead and get my tickets before I arrrive in June, don't think so.

The difference in the above is that one is part of a single vacation stay and one is not. The OP booked the ENTIRE SINGLE vaction through Disney and should easily expect to receive the passes on the day they begin the vacation they booked through Disney.
We can agree to disagree.
OP - Good luck to you! Keep trying daily as cancellations do occur. It might be worth checking for cancellations at other Disney resorts also.

But I also understand you can not start changing the requirements for packages, tickets, etc to fit the circumstances of each and every individual. It would be chaos.

If I book a Broadway package that includes hotel and tickets to a Broadway show you would not be allowed to get your tickets to the show prior to your check in at the hotel as it is all tied together. Personally I think it is unreasonable to think it would be otherwise.
Hopefully a cancellation will come up, or as others have suggested there is plenty to do in the area besides the parks. All reasonable suggestions.
