Pop Century DEC 14th & 15th?

I have booked Pop Century for Dec 16 thru 23 with the AAA discount. There were no rooms available for the 14th and 15th. Is anyone out there booked for those nights with a AAA discount? If so when did you place your reservation. Should I keep calling back to see if there si availability? Thanks.

I made my PopC reservations the morning AP rates came out here is what I was told.
AP rates for PC not available Dec 14 15 for standard room and 14 15 16 for pref.

Just guessing but with your AAA info sounds like there were and are no discounts for the first few days at PopC.

Since I hate moving and one can be moved with split reservations decided the small savings between the AP and rack was not worth the potential problem for 3 nights.

Hey Tyler what time are they opening the front desk on the 14 th ? I am coming over from RPR and usually do this early in the morning.

Russh This worked for me but I was a pain .I booked two rooms the 14th through the 20th with AP rate. The first room I booked on the day AP rates came out. I was told the 14th wasn't available but after being persistant and telling them I would book DC rate and AP rate they worked a little harder. They didn't want the headach of booking under two systems so they were authorized to give me the room at AP rate. One and a half weeks ago I booked the second room using the same tactic. This time the 14th and 15th were not available. The CM was very helpfull and got me the 15th through the 20th. They then called me back and said I got all the nights I wanted at the AP rate. I was told that availability is very limited. The second room I would've booked AP rate,DC rate ,rack rate. I guess this is a big headach for them so it worked for me the second time. They had to have open rooms to do this but I think they pushed the AP rate through. Maybe I got lucky with good CM's or maybe something just opened up while we were reserving but they took that extra step that keeps people coming back. I will send a thank you letter which I hope ends up in his file. Both times the CM left the phone for about ten minutes to check with a supervisor. Several things must have fell in place for me but I did get some magical dust sprinkled on us. I say keep trying you never know. We will be at another resort on the 13th so I hope they allow early check in at the POP. I dought they would want everyone showing up at 3pm.

I was going to potentially buy the AP's for this trip, but it was going to be a pain to book the room for only a partial amount of time at the AP rate and the savings would have gone out the window. So, I ended up keeping rack rates the whole time and buying 5 day PHP's and 2 sets of MVMCP tickets and still came out with a great plan for this vacation. We don't plan on heading back to WDW until late 2005 or sometime in 2006 depending on my honey's success at getting pregnant. Mickey
