Pop Century Bus??

Hey everyone, i was wondering if anyone has stayed at Pop Century in the past at busy season, We stayed there a few years ago, maybe a year or two after it opened and had a big issue with the busses! Not enough and long lines . Is this still the case, we are choosing between POP and ASMovies, we are unsure at this point which one is better Thanks Krista

We stayed at Pop during Thanksgiving week 2009 - one of the busiest weeks of the year...not one single bus issue!!! We thought the busses at Pop were great.

Regardless of the time of year I think the all stars will be worse than pop bc all three all stars share buses while pop has its own! Nothing is worse than standing on a packed bus exhausted while the bus makes other stops. HTH!

We stayed this past June and while there was some waiting, it was much less than the All Star Resorts.

I was impressed with the Pop bus system for the reason already stated - no sharing of the bus! We went to Poly one night to drop off the kids at Neverland and I couldn't believe they had to share with Contemporary. I would be super annoyed if I paid that much and had to share a bus.

I've never stayed there at a "peak" time, but it has been decently busy. I have NEVER EVER had a POP bus issue - I maintain it's the best bus service I've had on a consistent basis. I think it is partly because they don't share busses, and don't have internal stops.

Actually the All Star Busses only share on occasion, each resort has their own bus waaaay more often than they share. Fwiw, you will have more people at the Pop fighting for space on the bus, and the Pop is so much larger than any All Star Resort.

Having said that, don't pick a resort thinking it will have better bus service than another resort. All resorts have issues with their buses now and again. Pick which resort appeals to you most over-all, and stay there. Because as sure as you pick one resort for the supposed "better" bus service, that is when they have a huge breakdown, and you will run into nothing but problems. Murphy's Law.

I stayed at ASmusic in october, sometimes the bus was shared.
On my first full day I had the bus all to myself to go to Magic Kingdom at rope drop, it was awesome.
The bus service was great.
Now off to try Pop next month.

I was just there end of Oct. and thought the POP busses were outstanding.....
