Pop Century Areas

In your opinion, what are is the best to stay in at Pop Century?

we really enjoyed our stay in the 50s section...

i think "best" is very subjective... it depends on what your needs are (pool front or quiet side? parking lot view or water view? near food court or more secluded? will you have a car or want to be near the bus stop?) see what i mean... my best may not be your best... take a look at the map of the property and figure out what would work for you... but realize that the only section "guaranteed" is the 60s and that's for an additional $10/night!

It's really my cousin's family whom are staying at Pop Century, and I'll rephrase my question:
In your opinion, what are is the best to stay in at Pop Century? Which areas you liked the best and why; and what are the best (and worst) qualities of each area?

they can make a request on their reservation based upon their own preferences (like i said, we LOVED the 50s as it was convenient to everything that we like/needed) but unless they pay for preferred section (60s) there is no guarantee... they will not be "assigned" to an area 'til a day or three before check-in and will not know what area they are getting until they check in that day!

It depends on your idea of best: We stayed in the 50's section, building 2 (I think)-it was the building with the juke box, We went around Memorial Day.

Pros:
QUIET! (you could really hear the difference through the breezeways when we went to get ice)
Faced the lake and the Epcot Ball-whats's not to love about that?!
Bowling Pin pool not too busy

Cons:
Furthest from the food court/bus---but still only a few minute walk, nothing bad at all. We just did not run down to refills our mugs or anything.
Pool had no kid area-started at 3"6" (or something close)
