How long does it take to get from the airport to Pop and vice versa?

We are arriving at 4pm and wanting to go to DTD for dinner. I'm trying to decide if this is feasible.

Also on our trip back our flight is at 6pm and I'm not sure when we should head out!

You will likely stop at a couple of other resorts on your journey so depending on whether POP is the first stop or not, you will likely arrive between 60-90 minutes after landing.

ME has a pick up time of 3 hours prior to your departure, so if you have a 6 pm flight, you will be required to be picked up around 3 pm.

Do you actually have dinner reservations?? You'll be at the resort by around 5:30 pm. Say, check in by 6 pm...you could be at DTD by 7 pm....still plenty of time for dinner....

If you are on the dining plan you will need to check in to get KTTW cards with the dining credits on them.

We stay at POP most trips. We have never had the ME bus stop at any other resorts before POP. From the airport to POP actual drive time was about 20-30 min. From the time we get off the plane till we are at POP is about and hour. We always go to DTD our first night and we have arrived at MCO about 3:00 pm and had no issues getting to DTD for dinner and having time to enjoy the shops. Have a great trip and enjoy POP!

So if my flight lands at 10:45pm I probably will not get to my room before midnight?

We stopped at AKL before POP last December

When I was there in March we only stopped at CBR before POP, so it took about 45 minutes to get from airport to hotel AND check in, within an hour we were out and on our way to DTD

You could get there before midnight but I would plan to be there no sooner than 90 minutes after your plane lands. It can take longer after 10 p.m. because you have to go to baggage claim to collect your bags to take them on the bus with you. That adds at least 15-20 minutes to the timeline.

They also run busses "as needed". The only time it took more than 90 minutes for us to go from our plane to our resort was when we landed at about 11:30 pm. There were a total of about 12 people waiting at DME, so we had to wait about 20-30 minutes for other flights before they even loaded us onto a bus.

If I were you I would plan on a 12-12:15 arrival and if you show up earlier, great.

They will schedule you for a bus approx. 3 hours before your return flight - you will be informed of your scheduled time the day before or morning of your departure.
