DW just booked us for 3 nights at the Pop Century prior to our Disney Cruise!!
Does anyone have any tips or advise on this new resort??
What buildings are the most fun to stay in??
how is the transportation??
any advice would be great!

Just got back on Saturday from a weeks stay at Pop Century. The resort is a lot of fun. it is a bit more spread out though than the all stars. To be close to the bus and food court I would suggest paying the extra 10 for a preferred room. The 70s building B where we were at wasnt that far but I wouldnt want to be any farther away. The pools were fun! especially the pop jets. The arcade was a blast. Transportation was EXCELLENT! Never waited more than five minutes at the resort for a bus anywhere. And never waited more than 10 from the parks to the resort. The drive times seemed short too. I wasnt all the impressed with the food court, but I do have to say the Twinkie Tiramisu was to DIE FOR!!! Yummy! The gift shop was bigger and had alot of different merchandise. The mousekeepers kept our room tidy and even laid out the girls stuffed animals in the window to greet us when we returned. One day we came back to see one of the girls stuffed dogs sitting at the table with a bowl in front of him. Very cute. The potato heads were very cute! and at night in the 70s section there is a mini dance floor in the courtyard that has moving lights flash over it with disco music playing. me and my daughters danced a couple nights. well to be honest they wouldnt dance with me, so I danced by myself while they watched in total embarrassment. LOL The soundtrack at the resort is great! The resort was new and very clean. I even caught people early in the morning scrubbing the big word signs on the top of the buildings! Definitely a class act. Cast Members were quite friendly and helpful as well. We got a chance to meet Tyler, the resident Pop Century expert, and he is a sweetie! We didnt get a chance to really visit though because they were starting to get busy and he was running around doing his thing. Mousekeepers always greeted us with a hello or good morning. Oh and my littlest lost her safari mickey binoculars at the playground and we called lost and found while there but they couldnt find them. I called today when I got into work and they located them and they are on their way back to Pittsburgh! She is sooo happy. All in all it was a great visit. Pop Century is a great resort. We did miss All Star Movies though. Movies feels like home to me so I was a bit homesick. The bus service for Pop was much much better though. No sharing busses! Big plus!!!
