Is the 60's building worth the extra $10? It doesn't sound like alot more but for 7 nights that adds up.

I haven't stayed in the 60's, but we were in the 50's and it had a very nice pool over there (a jukebox). The really neat thing was we could see the fireworks from Epcot while standing at the end of the building.

It did look like the walk was closer for the 60's building, but it really didn't feel all that far to us for the 50's building. I think they all seem to be located well.

From what I've read and seen on the map of the hotel, location isn't that big of a problem. Every decade if the hotel is in close proximity of the main hall and bus area, just the 60s is closer.

The hotels may seem further apart on the map, btu they are all literally minutes away. 60's is a convenience since it is closest, btu I'm not sure if it is worth another $10 a night, considering 50's is right next to it and less money:earsboy:

Personally I wouldn't spend the $. We just got back and had a great location on the second floor of the 70's. It was as close to the main hall as many of the 60's rooms and since in was 2nd floor it had a quiet walkway.

My last morning there I sat for a few hours by the pool in the 60's section and it was busy. There was constant traffic in front of those rooms.

Unless you have a need to be right poolside I would save the money and go for a nice 70's room.
